The hotel is in a great location in de Wallen near restaurants, tourist attractions, the train station, etc. The room was quiet despite the location and was very clean and spacious compared to other hotels I have styed in in the city centre. The staff were helpful, polite, and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice Bar downstairs and the room was adequate for a short stay.

My son's stag do and the Hotel & Bar Royal Taste was our base. There was 13 of us and our room was in the basement. Basic room with a fridge, sink & shower but the toilet is outside on the corridor. Basic in every way, but great location, great staff, great coffee, great beer, great atmosphere. Cheapest beer in the neighborhood so keep that in mind. Great week at the Royal all in all everyone was happy. Thanks to all the staff.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Typical old Dutch building in the heart of the city center. Rooms are clean and spacious. Good stay for a couple of nights, close to all the attractions. The hotel also has a relaxing bar on the ground floor for guests of the hotel, but also for guests from outside. Felt safe because the guests from the bar good not enter the hotel.

I liked that this property is close to the train station-easy to walk to or from. It is the red light district so I wasn't fully aware of that when I booked it on ******* however this was our 2nd time to Amsterdam in 2 weeks and it was nice to have another area to explore that was super lively and fun.

Best place in the Red Light District to watch the world go by. Hanging out with Nuno, Julia, Martin, Muriel, and Arnold is always a pleasure. One of the few places you can sit outside to watch the "show". Reasonable prices and excellent service!! Thanks everyone!!

séjour très agréable au cœur d amsterdam par contre il faut prendre des boules quies car très bruyant jusqu’à 4heures du matin,mais lieu vraiment atypique
