Great location, free WiFi, and coffee machine (in main lobby), comfortable bed, but extremely small for a single, and one wrong move and you’re on the floor, some staff more friendly, and approachable than others, but the whole building could do with updating. My room had massive holes in the wall, only one plug socket which was on the opposite side of the room, near the door, shared toilet had no sink to wash hands, but thankfully, my room was right next door, and the toilet was barely big enough to move around in. Given the location, it’s fairly quiet, but the slamming of doors from other guests, and residents all night long was a massive issue. I would stay again if the rooms had a facelift.

The worst experience ever! The hotel cancelled my order because I delayed to check in. And they refused to refund. So literally I arrived to Amsterdam with my 8 year old kid and found that I no more have place to sleep. They didn't want to help me to find any solution. So the result was no room, no money, no help from managers.

There’s a reason you can’t find a photo of the showers and toilet on *********** and that’s because the showers are moldy and growing fur and the toilets are needing redone desperately! Whole place could use a lick of paint and a good scrub of bleach. Beds looked clean enough but unless you’re stopping for a quick nap AVOID!

It is a basic hotel, I speak from my experience.... 3 small single beds enough to sleep, acceptable room cleanliness, spectacular views of the room, slightly ugly bathrooms, in short the hotel meets the requirements of being a place to rest at midday and go out again, and go back to sleep, the stairs are uncomfortable but all the hotels in the center of Amsterdam are like that! It is architecture of houses that have not been modified! Stop crying! Or stop traveling with huge suitcases that you can't even carry one floor, I read opinions that disappoint the hotel for personal reasons that are not the hotel's fault. Yes they can improve things but Amsterdam is expensive and offers the basics. Or they can stay at the W or 5-star hotels to stop them from crying. FOR ME THE HOTEL MEETS THE MINIMUM TO BE WELL.

A very poor standard hostel in a rough area of Amsterdam. The shared showers are 1960s and rooms very small. This is a basic hotel for back packers who have no interest in hygiene or looking for luxury or quality accommodation. The area near is risky.

Great location. Staff seemed nice enough. Obviously im some need of TLC. Pretty run down. Some other guests found mould on their bedroom wall. Shared bathrooms. Suuuuper steep steps. No lifts. Tiny rooms. Something about it felt odd and I didn't feel very safe. Absolutely nothing included and I really don't think it was worth the money. I can slum it but honestly this place was worth no more than 50 euro a night, and that's probably being generous

Be very wary of the older grey haired guy with glasses checking you in, myself and 2 friends paid 402€ cash on arrival (full amount) didn't get a receipt, when we got back to the UK checked my credit card to find another 122€ taken from my account, the hotel said that we had only paid 304.08€, no receipt, no money back, be aware this hotel will scam you, make sure you get a receipt at check-in or you will be paying a lot more than you should, also known as crown/Parkwood hotel,
