The location is excellent, right next to the Rhine River and the Chocolate Museum, and a 10-minute walk to the old town. The hotel breakfast is very good.

Upon our arrival at Centraal Station (Ferry Station) on 02/11/22 @ 4.15pm, we made a call to request for a shuttle. Less than 10mins the driver came but drove away in front of us without stopping by to pick us up. Thereafter we made a call again to hotel to ask the driver come back. After the 15 mins of waiting (travelling with a baby and weather is cold and total waiting time is 25 mins). The driver finally arrived, i asked him why he never stopped to check around if there is any guests waiting for him. He said i shouted at him and asked to carry my heavy luggages up to the van by myself because he is not happy and complaint to the other guest who is also taking the same shuttle. I even had to open the van back door to reloaded the luggages by myself also when arrived at the hotel.
This is the most terrible service I ever encountered. Initially I was looking very forward to stay in this hotel but I was ill-treated by this driver. I hope the management will look into this matter. This not the kind of service provide to the guest. I will not stay or recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel is about 20 minute walking from centraal station or 10 minute walking from the nearest metro station. But, they provide shuttle to and from the centraal station. The room is spacious with bathtub. The service is very good. The gym is quite large. It’s a nice place for pampering oneself.

Algehele ervaring was super en het personeel is top. Het voelde alsof iedereen met plezier naar hun werk kwam en relatief harmonieus samenwerkte. Keuze in het restaurant kwa eten en drinken is erg beperkt maar kwalitatief een heel stuk beter als ik verwacht had. Douche was zwak in 1 van de 2 kamers die wij geboekt hadden en beide badkamers hadden geen toiletborstel wat ik zelf erg onaangenaam vindt. De kamers hadden ook wel hun mankementjes met een manke kastdeur, maar daarvoor was alles wel op en top schoon! en dat is mij zo veel meer waard.

Great base for Impro Amsterdam
A really excellent base to visit the Impro festival, just a short bus ride from all the venues and the same to get back into the centre of town.
I had a lovely big room overlooking the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also very quiet which led to a very peaceful stay.

Groot hotel. lijkt misschien onpersoonlijk, maar fijn dat de receptie altijd bemand is. En het personeel is bovendien vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wat ons aangenaam verraste was de verjaardagskaart voor de jarige van ons tweeën, met aanbod van gratis drankje. Prima kamer met leuk uitzicht (hebben waarschijnlijk niet alle kamers), ruim genoeg; groot, uitstekend bed. Wij hadden een badkamer met inloopdouche; daarvan heeft het hotel er helaas maar weinig begrepen we. Leuk idee om milieuvriendelijk gedrag van gasten te belonen met gratis drankje.
