Euphemia Budget Old City Canal Zone

Catastrophic rooms. We went with 3 couples this weekend of 9/12/2023. In room 37 (that of 4); • The beds were not made. • No towels (not rated) • Almost military bed • very little lighting • no soap/shampoo in the showers • limited hygiene • The heating did not work In room 38 (that of 2); • The bed was terribly dirty, i.e. hair on the bed, under the covers as well as on top. Tips of nails (???) on the bed. • The shower constantly changes temperature (both freezing and boiling) • Mold in a corner of the ceiling —- In relation to reception, we asked for a deposit in LIQUID (€160) for 2 nights, 6 people. The deposit is noted but nothing in terms of how to pay it. Positive thing: On the last day, we had to check out the rooms by 10:00 a.m. Our train was scheduled for 8:40 p.m. so we wanted to wander around this city one last day and this hotel was able to store our luggage without any problem.

I booked two rooms at the hotel. Upon arrival, one had air conditioning and the other did not. It was very hot, unbearable to stay in the room without air conditioning. The receptionist was extremely rude. The cost of the hotel is very high for what it offers. Simple bathroom, no space, with curtain, ugly and unpainted room. Precarious facilities. I do not recommend.
