Boutique Hotel the Craftsmen

We stayed in The Tanner for three nights and it was total perfection. The hotel is centrally located near Central Station, The Anne Frank House and other attractions. There are countless shops and restaurants right outside your door, so we found it to be the perfect location for exploring the city. Check-in and check out were very efficient and the hotel was great about communicating details of your stay in email throughout. The room itself was exactly what I was hoping for after researching the hotel. As a corner room, the Tanner had beautiful views of the canal and lots of light. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was kept stocked with water with coffee pods for morning. We used the hotel’s restaurant recommendations and found a great Italian restaurant for dinner one night. And then there is the breakfast. We chose to have it served in the room and it was decadent. Meats, cheese, jams, pastries, mini pancakes, boiled egg, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee. It was fantastic. And I can’t say enough about the staff and their service. This is a must stay and truly a best of the best.
