It's a small hotel. There was a great welcome from the friendly and fun reception staff. But the room very small and the room proportions are not good Makes staying in hotels difficult I came with my family which is highly not recommended. Because the size and arrangement of the facilities is not good.

Horrible hotel - Dirty rooms and unfriendly staff, seriously awful experience. If you read up on some of the reviews you'll see what's mentioned. Sheets are dirty, nothing being down with disruptive parties, bathrooms behind stain glass windows, and rude management. Avoid if possible!

We had a 3 night stay at Melrose and really couldn’t fault it. Very clean - shout out to the cleaning staff as it always felt clean and cared for throughout the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bed was amazing. Bathroom took some getting used to but really no issue for us. Great location - nice clean neighborhood with great food options and supermarkets close by. If you are a bit claustrophobic I would suggest requesting an upper level room and be aware that the noise from other rooms can be an issue.

Goede locatie inmidden van de Jordaan. Maar wel met minpuntjes... Het bed was comfortabel en de ontvangst vriendelijk. Maar onze koelkast was erg vies met smerigheid en haren. Ook in de douche waren er haren. De kamer is voor een suite erg simpel. Er is geen mogelijkheid om iets neer te leggen bij de wastafel. Er stonden twee papieren koffiebekers als tandenpoetsbekers... dit is toch een grap voor een suite. Ook was er geen mogelijkheid kwa kledingkast of dergelijke. Er is zo veel ruimte maar deze is gewoon niet gebruikt. Wat een zonde van losse ruimte. We hebben prima geslapen maar meer dan een nacht zou ik niet willen aanraden. Het is verder geen comfort in de kamer. Mijn tip aan het hotel: Maak er wat van. Zet er een kledingkast neer en een grotere wastafel. Kleed de kamer en vooral de badkamer meer aan. Maak het allemaal wat gebruiksvriendelijker. Dat zijn kleine aanpassingen die groot effect zullen hebben voor de gast. Voor een normale kamer al jammer, maar voor een suite echt een no go.
