The location of the hotel is absolutely in the city center. The room is spacious and beautiful. It is a pleasure to sit on the balcony and watch the canal. The service is superb. The old doorman is a gentleman, and the receptionist is very polite. The bathroom is large, and the bedding in the room is superb, very comfortable. It gets dark at half past ten in the summer here, and the beautiful bells echo in the night sky. Special reminder: This hotel can check out at 4 pm.

Great hotel and location. Very quiet. Nice washrooms, it was all marble, very clean. Ut had good quality products and all amenities. Pillows too soft and could be better. The view from the room was beautiful. There is clock tower in front of hotel and we loved the music and bells at every hour. All the main attractions at walking distance from the hotel. No complaints about hotel, room or staff, just the buffet breakfast is very slow if you order any food from the menu. Jordan was amazing and helpful

I do not recommend this hotel. If you want to see what a 5 star hotel should be like please look at some of my previous 5 star reviews. There were repeated flaws that occurred during my stay: housekeeping, dining, spa services, package benefits ... The ladies at front desk and concierge were friendly and respectful but the guys were abrupt and condescending at times.

I had a perfect six-night stay at the Hotel De L’Europe until check-out when the cold-hearted front office manager made discussing a charge on my bill very difficult. The charge was something I didn’t understand. Instead of calmly trying to explain what happened, she insisted the charge was all my fault. But the concierge department had not confirmed the service or €600 EUR price with me so I was confused and felt blindsided. The manager took no responsibility for the misunderstanding. I’m certain that this LHW property could find a more gracious person to manage the front desk while making guests feel valued. Formally confirming all services with guests is a good idea, too. This one simple step would have prevented this expensive misunderstanding.

Fabulous hotel with beautiful accommodations. Excellent hospitality from beginning to end of our stay. Bathroom had heated floors!! Staff was outstanding. Location was central to everything and hotel was on the canal. We definitely would return in a heartbeat!

This hotel exudes European charm and class. A friendly and competent staff. Excellent on-site restaurant . The main floor room overlooking the canal is an excellent spot to people watch - inside and out - plus to have light lunch or cocktails anytime. A beautiful room overlooking the canal.

Everything about this hotel is great. Service and food all very good. The hotel has one of the prettiest lobbies I have ever seen and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate at Maries for dinner, had lunch in the lobby lounge and drinks at Freddy's Bar. A overall wonderful experience
