Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel

The lobby and front desk are very generous, but the room is not big. But it is clean. It is very convenient to the city center. The hotel is well decorated, but there is no gym. I was given a card to go to the gym of another hotel. It is more than 600 meters away from here, and the conditions are OK. I didn't have breakfast. The restaurant looked like a canteen from the outside, so I gave up.

Having stayed in five-star/luxury hotels at home and abroad so many times, I have to complain this time: 1. The entrance of the Renaissance Hotel is very small, and it is easy to miss it if you are not paying attention. You need to swipe your card to enter. After entering, you have to go down the stairs to check in in the lobby. It is extremely unfriendly to travelers with large suitcases. The highlight of the service is that the staff will help deliver the luggage to the room. 2. The platform showed that the payment at the store was 23.98 euros. However, when checking in, I was asked to pay 65 euros. When checking out, I was refunded 18 euros. I actually paid 47 euros. 3. We were checking in for 2 people, but the room was only equipped with slippers, towels, bath towels, and 1 bottle of mineral water for 1 person. We called the front desk but never received the answer. In the end, we had to go downstairs to the front desk and ask for an additional configuration for 2 people. , but the number of slippers still did not increase. 4. The wireless WIFI is slow and the front desk phone has not been able to be reached. 5. Compared with hotels of the same level in Amsterdam, the room is small and relatively old. There is no shower room, but a shower on the bathtub. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. After taking a shower, the smoke filled the air and was a bit suffocating. 6. The breakfast room is small, with less than 10 tables and few breakfast styles.
