Reijgershof

We were told that we could check in at 1 pm, then this was suddenly changed to 2 pm. On arrival there was no one there to receive us. After some searching we finally found our room ourselves. After we have taken our stuff out of the car, which you have to park across the 80 road and pass with your stuff between the passing cars, we looked at the room. The previous guest's dirty crockery was still in the room, the 'clean' water glasses were too filthy to handle, the windows were single pane, filthy and didn't close properly. The shower has a measly jet, hand shower not even connected so that the water sprays out of the coupling. Cracks in the rafter, vermin in various places. The breakfast was pitiful and here too the glassware was downright filthy. To top it all off, communication with the owner is very poor and you get anything but a welcome feeling. It was not clear to us what time we had to check out. This turned out to be before 11 am. The owner was at the door at exactly 11 am, to which we answered but received no response. When we took a shower a little later, the best man appeared again, opened the door and without introducing himself (we had not seen this gentleman before, no one from the b&b at all) asked us to leave in a downright antisocial way. This while my boyfriend was drying himself off after a shower??? Even after asking if sir could close the door, it remained ice cold?? Ridiculous! If sir continues to do business in this way, he will be hospitable in the short term 😉 In short, unhygienic, unsafe and unfriendly.

It took a while to see when we arrived. There was no one present for a while. But we were very surprised about the special and relaxing place so close to nice Weesp and close to Amsterdam. Met nice people and the people who arrange breakfast do their very best and it is good. Take your bicycles with you and you can cycle to Amsterdam in no time. It's great
