Hotel Indus is located just 20 m from the entrance the The Golden Temple Gurdwara and is very close to the extensive shopping mall and the park dedicated to the people killed in the massacre of 1919. There is a very good view of The Golden Temple from the rooftop restaurant.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
It is stromgly recommended.

Good service, next to the Harmandir sahib.Room was clean and bed linen was clean and soft. We enjoyed our short stay here. Staff were extremely helpful. If we visit Amritsar again we will certainly consider this hotel again. Limited option on breakfast

Pathetic experience, please do not book this hotel ever. Their rooms were unhygienic and had bed bugs. We changed three rooms and all had bed bugs. We saw bugs moving on bed and their comforter.. We did not stay there even for one night and had to check out immediately. We had booked three rooms for 2 nights and all our money got wasted. After seeing the condition of rooms, we had to leave immediately and book another hotel which costed us so much.

The indus hotel is perfectly situated less than 3 minutes walk from the golden temple. Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant which overlooks the golden temple itself. Room was clean, tea coffee and fridge. Good value for the room rate.

If u are religious trip to amritsar this is the best hotel at reasonable rates. Staff very courageous and our two days stay was good. Being close to golden temple and other attractions, u don’t have spend extra money on autos taxis etc.

Property has really excellent proximity towards golden temple and nearby locations like jalan val a bagh as well as partition museum. The drawback is that they don't have in-house room service available for ordering room service like food. However, beverages like tea & coffee or milk for small kids are available, which was good as we had a 2 year old traveling with us. Staff was polite & helpful. If room service was available, i would rate this stay of mine 5 out of 5.
