I recently checked into Room 316, which I was informed had been newly renovated. While the room featured new twin beds and a new toilet, the experience overall was very disappointing. The first major issue was with the air conditioning unit, which was leaking water. We reported the problem three times, but although maintenance visited, they simply said there was ice buildup and that it would go away on its own — it never did, and the issue remained unresolved throughout our stay. The second and more concerning issue occurred on the night of July 30 at 1:40 AM, when we returned to the property. The security guard at the main gate acted with shocking rudeness and arrogance. As we approached, he said, “Yes, what do you want?” in an aggressive tone. I explained that I was a guest returning, and he proceeded to check the car trunk, then slammed it shut forcefully without saying anything further. When I asked him why he was acting this way and suggested that if he didn’t like his job, he should consider changing it, he responded dismissively, saying, “It’s not my business — go away!” I returned to the front desk to report the incident, and their response was equally disappointing. I was told the guard used to work in the control room and was now stationed at the gate, and that he simply “doesn’t like it” — which is no excuse for treating guests so poorly. Given these issues, I cannot recommend this hotel. Despite some basic room upgrades, the lack of proper maintenance and the unprofessional, disrespectful behavior of staff made this stay not worth it.
