Antika Amman Hotel

The location is perfect 👌 to what i had for in Amman. Downtown is to be reached in few minutes walk.

From the outside main street side it is unassuming. However from their main entrance it is well decorated. The rooms are nice in size, with an home atmosphere with rooms grouped together to have family and friends in close proximity. The staff, Fady and Mousan,(forgive me if it's mispelled) were very personal and kind in making sure we were well taken care of. We will stay here again. We loved it!

The staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Fadi and Musan are always smiling and asking if we need anything. Breakfast is just right... Always enough. Not a 5 star but everything we needed and more. Small, quaint and comfortable. Close to everything we needed. Perfectly quiet and comfortable. We will be back!!

Located just beside The Bank of Jordan This is a small simple comfortable family run hotel that provides all the basic needs for a stay to discover the main sites downtown. Located at a stone's throw away from rainbow street there are plenty of places to eat and drink and a small convinence store meters away. Very safe location for wondering around to and back at night. DownTown is a steep energetic but interesting walk that can be done in 20 mins. I had a room on the 1st Circle side of the hotel of which the noise wise level was acceptable. The room was a very good size, clean with comfortable bed, the bathrooms though small and basic provided a well preassured hot shower each day. Only "issue" was the sound proving between my room that had adjoining door to the next room as you could hear everything from the resudents in that room (ear plugs worked for me though so getting to sleep was fine) Wifi is fast and free The common room is clean and quaintly furnished in old oriental style which is quirky and provides a cozy charm to the hotel. Hot water coffee/tea is available in the common area throughout the day which is nice addition especially on one cold evening. The breakfast was simple though it provided enough nutrition for a morning of walking and provided cooked omelette as well as boiled eggs. What made the hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff from pre-booking conversations via whatsapp with Hiba and face to face enquires with Mary who was a delight to deal with at reception Pre-arrival communication including arranging a private driver for airport pickup. A special mention to Richard my driver and a warm personality who I continued to be in contact with throughout my trip to arrange a Taxi service with during my stay. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with him hearing his many stories from past and amusing stories from present. Meeting someone who is so dedicated to providing a service to traveler’s not for personal profit but for satisfaction and integrity to their job is rare. He is definitely one to reach out to for your driving and tour needs. I stayed 3 nights and returned for a 4th night after a tour (I was able to store my luggage safely for a day and a half too!) This room was again sufficient in size comfort and facilities but located opposite the kitchen so arriving after dinner time the food smells (not unpleasant) had seeped into the room - rectified by opening the window so not a big issue.
