The room was dirty. There was a pile of toe nails on the side from the last people! most things in the room was broken including the shower handle, the mirror, the toilet didn’t flush and the sink was dripping all night.
The shower floor was green covered with dirt everywhere.

Staff are very friendly and helpful but There’s mild on ceiling above the shower, light in on suite has a kind of its own and cobwebs visible

Nothing special
This was disappointing. Nothing special about this hotel. It was not clean. The staff was not helpful. We ate at Chippy's nearby and that staff gave us recommendations for our time in that area. Changed our trip in the best way.

Went there 16 years ago and it was delightful spotlessly clean with a great breakfast. Return trip this year 345 miles from home ...................... Looked shabby from the outside. Not too bad on entering and paying for one night upfront. The Room was absolutely Awful Mould everywhere and the breakfast wasn't good. We had originally intended to stay for 3 more nights ........but left after that one night

A very generous three stars based on the breakfast and the fact we both slept well. The room needed a top to toe clean, however, especially the windows inside and out. All in all, disappointing. A false economy which we are unlikely to repeat.

Celebrated a 60th birthday party. Great function hall and adjoining bar. Friendly, helpful and accommodating Bar Manager and bar staff. Would definitely recommend. Our son and his young family stayed in one of the large rooms, very comfortable.
