A lovely find. We arrived late but the super friendly staff rustled up two delicious pizzas (well worth a try😀) Breakfast was lovely and makes you think we missed out on the main menu by being late. Our room was clean but a tad tired. That said it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. A nice quiet location. Give it a go, you won’t regret it!

Room and Service Good But.... Room and service was good. Evening meal was good but expensive but for the price would have expected more than a bowl of rice and bowl of curry, watch out as well for the 10% service charge. Breakfast was disappointing, American pancakes with blueberries, bacon and maple syrup, the pancakes were rock hard.

Nice but, Dont use for bisiness. I really liked the location and feel of the pub. It was busy when i arrived but had no issues checking in. The room was comfortable and well presented. I was very disappointed with the 0730 breakfast. As a facility within reach of London, only starting breakfast at 0730, and that means not being ready to serve at 0730 , it meant coffee needed until 0745 everything needed cooking. I settled for a quick sandwich and no drink, no cereal was availabile whilst waiting for the delayed breakfast and coffee.

Would recommend! We stayed one night as a couple. The room was a little tired and could do with updating. However, it was clean and the bedding and towels were spotless and fresh. The bathroom was also cleaned to a high standard and a variety of toiletries were supplied. There was plenty of tea and coffee, biscuits etc in the room and these were very welcome. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and our meals were excellent. Breakfast was also to a very high standard. Overall, very good value for money.

Great pub, food, beer and staff all excellent Food was good, beer was good, staff very helpful. Unfortunately I hate woodchip and there was quite a bit in the room but it’s an old building and so it’s probably the right stuff to use.

Basic room but great food and friendly service. Quite a basic bedroom which is a bit tired in terms of decor and furnishings, but I slept well and the service and food were exceptional.

We booked a twin room for the night to be closer to Heathrow. The stairwell was filthy narrow and very difficult to get suitcases up. The beds were OK. Only 1 big towel for the 2 of us and I much smaller towel. The bathroom and shower are very cramped and hard to move in. We woke up in the morning for 8am breakfast- as we had paid for, but everything was locked. We knocked on the doors and ventured around to find someone but nothing. Outside all the empty glasses were still on the tables. I would definitely suggest you look elsewhere to stay. For the price we paid and to receive no breakfast, it was very over priced and the photos on the site are nothing like what you get
