The room is clean and tidy, and I can sleep peacefully at night. There are two or three restaurants nearby within walking distance. The landlord is warm and considerate. You can see the sea, the big glass windows and the interior feels comfortable.

Stayed here for the second time, but the experience was not good and I will not go again. The reason is simple - children are actually charged an additional $110, but the hotel policy clearly states that children stay free without extra beds. In total, it is much more expensive than Airbnb. I am disappointed.

Home away from home
Our accomodation was spacious clean and very comfortable. We had a patio setting outside with a view to the river so we could watch the sunset with a glass of wine.

Kevin the host is very friendly, greeted us on the night we checked in, pointed out the Koala bear in a nearby tree, then said goodbye the morning before we checked out. The house is well equipped with all kinds of kitchen spices, even an expresso machine! The cozy living room with books, the private deck at sunrise with birds singing and flying all around… all makes it a lovely vacation getaway in a luxury country house setting.

Wonderful 2 bedroom property. We enjoyed breakfast on the outdoor patio with water view and listening to and watching the Gahla Cockateels . Near views of wild kangaroos at dusk on the open land just off the main highway prior to American River turn-off.

Lovely location and owners
2 bedroom fully kitted out apartment with a sea view. Lots of birds and off the main road so it's nice and quiet, outdoor sitting area.
Pros; location, facilities, communication with the owner, wifi, eco conscious living.
Cons; shared toiletries. Personally not a fan of large openable soaps and shampoos and coloured towels. Hotels use white towels that can be bleached, personal preference and I used my own toiletries. Sitting area could benefit from screens to make it more private from the street and hide the owners stuff.

Fantastic place on a fantastic island
Very friendly owner. Hard not to fall in love with KI.
And the location of this place was perfect for our travels around on the island.
Very spacious apartment. Very well equipped kitchen and bathroom. A clear and conscious environmental idea was oozing through the whole place - live in and with nature.
Can only wholeheartedly recommend
