My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here! The house is beautiful, clean and quiet. There were other guests there but we barely seen them. We practically had the pool to ourselves Friday and Saturday. Bars, dining, tours and shops are literally within a couple blocks, not a far walk at all. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and layout so pretty! The staff were friendly and accommodating. Fresh baked cookies everyday. Loved every bit of our stay. We will be back!

Dear friends from South Florida drove the distance to visit. Instead of a chain hotel, I searched for a B&B to reflect the vibe of the destination. Based on its excellent location (easy walking to restaurants and shops), I selected the Hoyt House for our guests. I called HH directly; their suggestions were helpful and I added a charcuterie amenity, as well. Although my guests travel extensively, this was their first experience in a B&B and they were delighted with the intimacy of the accommodations and service. HH is owned and operated by the Chapman family and they are focused on making each stay special. If you are visiting the Fernandina Beach-Amelia Island area, I highly recommend the Hoyt House.

The Hoyt House is fabulous! The house and rooms are beautiful, the attention to detail is incredible and the owners and staff….delightful! We spent our anniversary there and we will definitely be back. Very comfortable accommodations, delicious breakfast and snacks, as well as being steps from great shopping and dining in the historic area of Amelia Island. Very close to the beach also. You won’t be disappointed!

So close to food, shopping and the beach…PLUS, everything you need except a swimsuit and clothes; bikes, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas! The accommodations are comfortable and inviting with a delicious breakfast to start your day! Highly recommend!

The Hoyt House was a wonderful place to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The owners were very responsive to emails and Heather was gracious and helpful getting us settled in and ready for the stay. It’s very convenient to walk to restaurants, music venues, and shopping. The house was vintage and beautifully kept up with all modern amenities and a delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this house!

Historic and well maintained home. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Within walking distance of many restaurants ranging from fine dining to casual. Historic fort is close for a visit and horseback riding on the beach is available.

The Hoyt house and owners were lovely. If you are looking for a beautiful clean bed and breakfast in a perfect location walkable to shops, dining and waterfront this is the place to stay. We also enjoyed yummy breakfast and 4 pm social /drink hour with the hosts.
