From the time we step out of our car, we were warmly welcomed by Geoffrey. It was my daughters birthday and I arranged with the lodge a package to celebrate her. They made the day so special for her with her room decorated with flowers, song and dance in the evening with a birthday cake - it was an unforgettable day!
The rooms where charming and clean. We were very much taken care of for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lovely swimming pool and massage facilities.
I am so grateful to all that made me and my family feel welcomed and cared for.

The accommodation is tented and the grounds spread over several acres but safely electric fenced to keep animals away. Its a pleasure to walk around this place. The tents are big and well maintained. There is a shop, restaurant and bar. Food is delicious and service is friendly. The place is calm and quiet as this place is in the wild. My stay here was comfortable.

We recently stayed at Kibo for the second time, having been there 5 years ago. Our stay did not disappoint. Kibo is a luxury tented camp large in size but still comfortable and personalized. We stayed in one of the "club" tents which was massive and extremely well appointed with everything you need plus a welcoming fan. Some of the tents face Kilimanjaro. The lounge is large and bar well stocked and the meals feature a multitude of selections with some cooked to order....wood fired pizza! The staff is welcoming and friendly and accommodated our late check out. The park entrance is but minutes away. We definitely recommend and if we get back to Amboseli again we will return.
