The room is nice, the hygiene is good, the service is good, and the food is good. But there are many bugs in the room.

This expansive campus offers breathtaking views of Amboseli Park and the majestic Kilimanjaro peak. The cottages are very spacious, featuring verandas with spectacular views of the park and Kilimanjaro. From your cottage, you can spot mighty elephant herds and other wildlife. The service at the bar, restaurant, and front desk was commendable. Although the food spread was extensive, it could be more appealing to the palate

An absolute gem of a lodge! Beautifully designed and fully accessible for the less sure-footed (even the shower!). Large, well-equipped rooms, extra comfy bed surrounded by mosquito net curtains. Delicious food and impeccable service. And a pool for a refreshing dip. The lodge's large elephant-proof garden offers a welcome opportunity to take a stroll after a long game drive. And at night, you may even hear the rumbling sounds of your elephant neighbours talking to each other. Really outstanding!

We stayed for two nights(Oct 3 and 4 2024) in Oltukai lodge. It was recommended to us by our tour operator, Shanjoy tours and Safaris. What I absolutely loved: Location, nearness to the air *****, service, monkey chasers, very reasonable rates for laundry and the gift shop. Great location where you see the elephants, hippos and other animals right outside the fence from your room or from anywhere in the campus. Service- The entire team, housekeeping, dining, front desk were all good. A special callout to Hoseah, (very personable, service wih a smile, gave us valuable tips that were useful throught our trip in Africa), Chef Francis who made us delicious butter chicken and indian veges for dinners, and Abigail who served us drinks. Note: Below is just a feedback to the hotel mgmt, not a complaint. We still enjoyed our stay immensly. I did not take stars away for this reason. 1. I currently have a health issue that prevents me from walking a lot. I had bad experience with our previous hotels in the safari and I specifically asked our briefer where my room was: Her reply was, “not far”. It turned out to be very far, the second last from the end. I had no energy to go back, and change the room. I had to plan our activities in such a way to avoid, going back to the room often. So please, be honest when your guest asks you a question. There may be a good reason why they are asking you. To be fair, every hotel except one was not honest with us on this one. Not sure what the mstery of room assignments is: how much you paid, tour operator preference?? 2. Bar doesnt open until almost dinner time. We went to have a drink by the pool, at 6:30pm. No service there. We came to the bar and ordered. There was only one person struggling with the load. More people came around 7, or so, apparently all in a staff meeting before dinner. We could have spent a lot of money in the bar, but we couldnt because these timings

We stayed for four nights at this large lodge style hotel. Our lodge was comfortable. Animals are visible close up to the hotel fence. Staff were friendly and helpful. All meals are buffet style, with many options available. Our guide Moses was knowledgeable showed us a lot of wildlife. A good stay.

We are a family of four with two kids aged 9 and 7, and stayed at Ol Tukai Lodge during our safari trip. We absolutely loved the lodge and the staff was fantastic! This was the first stop on our safari and we didn’t have anything to compare it to, but we were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. As soon as we walked outside the reception area, we were greeted by an amazing display of animals just across the fence. The entire stay we had elephants, zebra, wildebeest, gazelle and water buffalo just outside the property – close enough to take pictures with. We had an adjoining room that worked perfectly for our family. We were close, but had separate spaces to put the kids down while we stayed up. Our cleaner, Lydia, was very sweet and remembered our kids’ names, saying “hi” to them, by name, each time she saw us. The rooms were always made up perfectly when we came back from our game drives. The food was served buffet-style and there was always a great selection for all three meals. Our kids are typical, picky eaters, but found plenty that they enjoyed. The staff was always ready, remembering us and where we were sitting. The grounds were very peaceful and we enjoyed an after-dinner drink at the bar each night. We loved our stay and would absolutely love to go back!

We stayed two nights in August 24. Room was excellent , nice size and really nicely kept Staff were amazing , so friendly and helpful on reception, in the bar and in the restaurant Food was ok , only reason I did not give the lodge five stars was after a long day I did not want to spend 5-10 minutes queuing for the food in a conveyor belt type approach - this needs a redesign to improve the enjoyment at food times. Monkeys around the lodges are fun but lock your doors
