The hotel is right on the road, easy to find, and parking is convenient, the parking fee is 12 pounds. The room facilities are old and the soundproofing is not good. There is a driveway outside the window, a walkway at the door, and all kinds of noise coming from the ceiling and upstairs. Stay for one night and continue on the road the next day. In addition, children are charged an additional 25 pounds per person. The reservation indicates that children cannot be brought in because no extra beds can be added. Oh, there is a big hole in the bed sheet.

The house in the lake area has a great view. The landlord is very considerate. The room is warm and lovingly decorated. The details are well handled. It is especially clean and hygienic. The heating is turned on at night. Like 👍👍

The Brathay Lodge is perfectly situated in the heart of the Lake District with a wonderful staff and beautiful rooms! Conveniently located in Ambleside, you can walk almost anywhere because of the extensive hiking trails that start/end directly in town. Plus, the bus stop is very close, so you can take the bus easily, as well. There is a car charger in the lot and (with notice) they'll be sure to block a spot for you to charge your electric car overnight. Breakfast is a great way to start the day without having to leave the lodge. And they truly attend to every question you might have!

Fantastic Lodge we go here every year the rooms or spotless tea coffee facilities the rooms have all just recently been refurbished to very high standards easy access to all amenities shops restaurants pubs and busses all nealy on the doorstep its continental breakfast and your spoiled for choice the staff or amazing cannot do enough for you there is a car park one car per room thanks Trevor see you next year

Fabulous welcome from Carol for my wife and I who booked the small double room direct with the Lodge for 2 nights. This was my second stay within 2 weeks having stayed over the first time for a fishing and hiking trip with my brothers in the quadruple room in late June. The Lodge is ideally situated with ample on site parking and the room was immaculate and had everything we needed, great shower, comfortable beds, teas and coffees etc. and a good strong WiFi signal. We started each day with a hearty continental breakfast buffet which included cereals, fruit juices, meats and cheese, yoghurt, fruits and pastries and received an equally friendly greeting from Karen and Trevor each morning.
