We didn’t stay at the hotel but we ate at the restaurant. It’s exactly as the name says, a hidden jewel. Grounds are impeccable and they have a great menu with a large variety of things. Atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. I had the chicken burrito which was enough for 2. Husband had the shrimp cocktail. Both were very good.

I had an amazing stay at Hidden Jewel Hotel in San Pedro, Belize! As a solo traveler, I never once felt alone thanks to the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Ron and Chris were especially fantastic, making me feel right at home. The spicy buffalo wings were to die for, and the local rum and coke was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. If you're looking for a cozy, vibrant place with exceptional service, this is it! Highly recommend!

Not Our Favorite
We wanted to like this property, but my partner and I agreed that we would not stay here again. Staff were very friendly, but we didn’t like the overall accommodations.
Sargassum was bad which is out of their control, but there was construction at the beachfront that I could not exactly figure out what they were doing.
The back seating area of our cabana was adjacent
to the restaurant, so I felt it didn’t give adequate privacy. Also, cushions on the outdoor furniture were worn and uncomfortable.
Pool area was ok, but we prefer an adult only hotel to avoid screaming kids. I blame myself for this because I should have selected an adult only hotel.
During our stay, one of the properties on the entrance road was burning the lot for clearing two of the nights, so there was a heavy smoke smell.
We had a three night stay and our room was never cleaned, but our towels were changed .
The hotel is at the northern end of the Ambergris Caye, so the area is nice if you want to be out of the hectic main town.

working on beach, which is a good thing, alot going on. the room that we had was near the dining, so no outside privacy. Was not really impressed that people from other resorts could use the pool if they ordered drinks or food. The staff was the best part of the whole experience. They were so friendly, hardworking, knowledgeable, so very nice. The food was very good

A true hidden jewel
This is truly a hidden jewel and will be back with the entire family. The bar and restaurant on site was amazing and had great selection and specials you really didn’t have to go anywhere else to eat and drink. The staff was amazing and very accommodating.

Friendly & accommodating staff. Food was great. We had fun exploring the Island on a golf cart. My only complaint is that I got covered with mosquito bites!

This is a hidden jewel, north of San Pedro, but worth the drive. You can swim in the pool enjoy the beachfront, laze on the beach and eat great food and drinks. Welcoming, friendly service for sure. We went several times with family and enjoyed the food and service each time. They have a lovely menu with great variety from Asian to Pizza to belizean it’s all good!
