As a time share owner, I have been continuously disappointed in the resort since it was purchased by new owners in 2018. Though they appear to be making some improvements in the property, they have not made,any efforts to maintain the timeshare units. We have owned timeshares there for nearly 20 years, and the units have the same furniture they had 20 years ago. The sofa bed is essentially unusable. Hence, there is no comfortable seating in the unit. The mattress is completely sunk in the middle, also extremely uncomfortable. The lighting in the units is terrible, and the resort does not provide any useful amenities that other timeshare resorts normally provide. (Such as salt & pepper, paper towels, and adequate dishes) Yet, they are building more hotel rooms. It is obvious that they have no interest in accommodating timeshare owners. If you are looking to trade your timeshare unit for Captain Morgans, I would not recommend it. I am afraid you would be greatly disappointed. It is just sad to see this once beautiful resort deteriorate as it has these last few years.
