We had an awesome time. Safe ,clean, friendly people especially one particular employee Wilfredo Chan . I arrived with no fishing gear and he lent me a pole all rigged up for a 2 week stay at no cost . Every day he would go out to the dock and cast net bait fish and give it to anyone who needed it. After he was off duty. If you wanted a coconut he would get you a fresh coconut from the tree and open it for you just because he is such a nice person. He made the stay very special for us and all the guests. I would give him 10 stars if I could . Thank you Wi-Fi . For making this trip a fantastic experience. We’ll be back in the fall. Don Ozbun.

My daughter and I just got back from the Sapphire Resort yesterday. We had a wonderful & peaceful stay (no thumping music - totally quiet)! Even though the resort is a hard 10 mile golf cart drive North of town, we enjoyed our daily drives where we even picked up 2 elementary students one morning and dropped them at school - that is HOW SAFE this island truly is. While going into town, we meandered onto various resorts and were always welcomed to look around. At the Sapphire, Wifi made our trip a resounding success. Each day after work, you can find Wifi on the dock catching fish for dinner. Wifi shared his poles and fresh caught sardines we watched him net. On our last night, Wifi and Erik took us out in resort canoes where we caught all the Snapper we could eat for dinner that night (they cooked them and brought them to our room!). The Sapphire is a beautifully landscaped and nestled boutique resort that is clean and has all amenities needed for cooking. Be sure to grab all the groceries you will need as you drive from San Pedro (there are 2 small groceries located about 1/2 mile from the resort & many just a little north of the town bridge). We ate resort tacos on arrival day and they were delicious! Seaweed was bad this trip so we need to plan another trip when the sargassum is gone.

Lisandro was very helpful and gave alot of good information. Also helped us with transportation to and from . Emma was very good as well tending the kitchen and bar the was delicious. Also gave us suggestions of what to do. They were both great,thanks alot guys.

Place was very accommodating. Only thing is proximity to downtown. One hour golf cart ride. But I would stay again!

We stayed in unit #11 with our family of four. First of all, don't let a agent or the property fool you about how far this place is from San Pedro. 10 miles doesn't sound far but on a golf cart and a rough gravel road, it's a long ways. The beach was not accessible due to seaweed and the resort made not attempt to clean it up. The restaurant and bar do not keep consistent hours, they would close early or not even open up. We had to ask numerous time for wash clothes and hand towels. The cooking utensils were horrible and old. The water pressure in the master bedroom was a trickle. Both safes were locked in the rooms and could not be accessed. We requested for them to be opened and was told they would have to be replaced. They finally replaced the safes on day 5 of our 6 day stay. Please don't let the pictures fool you, this is a low budget "RESORT". Spend the money and stay in town or somewhere other than this place.

Pool needs paint and advertize cable tv which they don't have only wifi. If you don't subscribe to streaming apps you got no tv. Beach is terrible, you can't swim in it, it's so far from everything you need a car or gulf cart.

My stay was excellent. I stayed for almost three months. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Eric, wifi and all the ground staff were excellent and had good customer service. The other crew from Stephanie and Samantha were excellent also. I also had some work done to the condo and Josh who did the work was excellent. Eiden who is in charge of the resort also did an amazing job to coordinate and organize everything! Also one of the grounds crew WiFi that’s what they call him goes the extra mile always. Sapphire Beach is a great place to stay ‼️
