On our second visit to this particular La Quinta, we arrived at night, and our check-in went smoothly. Being able to travel with our pets is an important factor why we choose La Quinta. Comfortable bed, working air conditioner. Functioning, accessible laundry room. Great steakhouse (Salt Grass) about 3/4 miles down the road filled our bellies. Cleanliness of the bathroom was poor, however. Mold stains on shower curtain, low/no hand soap is inexcusable for any motel that serves a large number of guests on such a big travel hub as Amarillo. Get the bleach!

Totally false advertising, Mold and mildew everywhere, no amenities, not even prepared for our arrival. Our initial room was hot with caked in dust vent over a air unit without freon. Took 3 hours to get us new working rooms with AC still no ventilation in the bathrooms and mold and mildew everywhere.

The gorl at the check was very nice and friendly. The room was comfortable, but the air was musty and stale. I had some air neutralize with me the helped. The pool was closed for what looked liked repair and refinishing. Whomever was doing the work should take a little more pride in their work and leave the area clean and neat. It was a bit unsightly. Would I stay there again? Probably yes, for the price.

The staff was nice that was probably the only good thing. There was absolutely no soap in the room. The toilet paper fell apart as soon as you touched it. There was a coffee pot in the room… no coffee. The tv channels wouldn’t come through. All around terrible experience.

I’ve stayed in several hotels and this is the worst hotel I have ever seen. Room was beyond disgusting, stains everywhere, sheets were not clean, broken furniture and drug peripheral in the nightstand. Checked out immediately, and asked for a refund. The manager on duty, just laughed and my card was charged twice! This hotel should be condemned and tore down. Whatever you do, do not stay here. @laquinta

Hotel needs some TLC. I travel lots and the breakfast was decent, the staff friendly and rooms overall were accommodating. They upgraded me to a suite being that I'm a diamond member. Theres a few restaurants close by and I thought it was conveniently located. I would stay again. Thank you for the hospitality !
