You have to climb the narrow stairs with your luggage. The rooms are small and the furniture is old. Compared to the facilities, the Amalfi Hotel is outrageously expensive and outdated. There is no need to stay in expensive and backward accommodations just because it is close to the beach, and bathe in the palm-sized Amalfi Beach full of people. I regret it. There is a reason most tourists take accommodations in Rome and take a day tour of the south.

Hotel Fontana is great hotel in location , in the terms of staff. Staff of hotel is very cooperative and they are very helpful. Hotel is located just in the centre of Amalfi . And gives a good view of church and the restaurant on street. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was so kind and helpful. Hotel is charming, clean, spacious and in a perfect location with a beautiful view! The included breakfast was delicious! There was a particular lady at the front desk (forgot her name) that was so sweet and gave us recommendations on the best way to get back to Rome to catch our flight and even booked our taxi. I would definitely stay here again!!
