Estacionamento insuficiente para a quantidade de quartos e sem alternativas perto. No quarto indicava que o peq. almoço iniciava às 8h mas a pessoa que nos recebeu disse que só iniciava o peq. almoço as 8:30. A simpatia de quem nos recebeu deixa muito a desejar ainda por cima para uma reserva de 8 adultos e 7 crianças. Gostei do facto de permitirem fazer late checkout para a maioria dos quartos.

Aspetos negativos: Falta de simpatia da funcionária. Acessos difíceis e sem grandes informações. Parque insuficiente para a lotação da propriedade. Quarto do sótão, sem condições para ser utilizado, dado que e muito baixo e facilmente se bate com a cabeça no teto. A mesa não está dimensionada para a lotação da casa. Solicitamos pequeno almoço cedo, informaram que só podiam às 8:30, no entanto na reserva dizia 8:00. Pontos positivos: solicitamos late check out e foi-nos autorizado. Pequeno almoço, simples mas bem composto Tirando o quarto do sótão, os restantes estavam todos em condições. Na reserva, por sermos um grupo grande (15pax) informaram que a casa seria toda para nós. Afinal isso não aconteceu, havia ainda mais dois casais.

Management refused to waiver cancellation fees (totally or partially) more than a week ahead of arrival, immediately after the surrounding area was devastated by a wildfire, even after it was explained that the only reason for the stay was visiting the Passadiços do Paiva, which had been partially destroyed by the flames and closed down. Refusal was absolutely their right, as it is mine to leave this review.
