It's best to stay in this hotel by car. The hotel is on the edge of a mountain and the air is particularly good in the morning. The only drawback is that the bathtub in the room is unreasonably designed. It is separate and water can easily spill on the floor using the shower curtain. Not sure if this is the case in other rooms.

Todos os detalhes, com muito bom gosto, mas super acolhedor! Do espaço, da arquitetura, da envolvência com a natureza, de forma bela e respeitadora. O conforto das camas, a água que sai imediatamente quente, a fogueira noturna no pátio exterior, cheio de recantos para relaxar e lindíssimos. Eu e a minha mulher gostamos muito das massagens com óleo quente, super relaxante e uma surpresa para esposa uma que andava a muito tempo a falar que queria conhecer está unidade hoteleira. Resolvi juntar a útil ao agradável com a oferta da estadia no dia de mais um ano de casados. Muito acolhedor, ser pequeno e fazer nos sentir realmente em casa. O lugar onde o hotel está situado é maravilhoso, um paraíso. Mesmo com dias de chuva e um pouco de nevoeiro as paisagens foram sempre espetaculares. Dos quartos temáticos, espaçosos e muito confortáveis! A decoração é fantástica, as salas super acolhedoras, pessoal simpático e prestável, ambiente muito tranquilo, propostas de workshops muito interessantes, aconselho o que fizemos que foi o de olaria. Os ovos mexidos feitos no momento pela simpática senhora, a extrema simpatia do staff, a confiança que depositam no cliente ao ceder um bar à disposição, a privacidade que é cedida nos Banhos D’Aire, pela obrigatória marcação de hora para se ter acesso. A localização que permite um sem número de experiências relaxantes! A comida deliciosa!

Verdadeiro refúgio de eternas memórias! Lugar onde as emoções se misturam com os sons dos passaros da água e do vento, que nos convindam a RELAXAR. Apenas sentimos a falta de musica adequada no momento do relaxamento nos "Banhos de Aire". A simpatia e a simplicidade dos colaboradores são de salientar. Obrigado.

We stayed here to access the national park and the nearby limestone caves which are worth seeing. Signage to the reception at the property could be clearer but it is a prominent building in the small village. Breakfast was very good although the absence of tea / coffee amenities in the room meant you had to access them from a common area at cost (expensive). Room tariff included access to some relaxation pools (3 small pools with different temperatures) which was a good experience although you have to pre-book. Bathroom is not very private as the shower screen is clear glass above the bed - may be an issue for some people. Nice building design and clearly focused on eco- friendly options.

Well worth the 20 mins. ride off the Porto-Lisbon road. Hotel is in charming village of Alvados in a lovely location. We had room no. 001 and it had a stunning design. Don't miss the three indoor swimming pools - they were charming and intimate. The breakfast was served in a lovely atmosphere. Note that at night the serpantine road to Alvados could be challenging for first time drivers in the area. We recommend to get there by daylight.

This hotel was the whole reason we travelled to Alvados after our visit to Lisbon, and it did not disappoint. The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed in harmony with the natural surroundings, and this extends to the comfortable and spacious room (we stayed in room 1). Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner were delicious (focused on locally sourced ingredients) and the spa baths were a real treat to come back to after a day hiking in the hills. The whole area is beautiful, there is so much to see and do. It was a perfect 3 night stay, and we would not hesitate to return.

Awesome weekend in couple
It's been a very nice weekend. The hotel is awesome. The food is unbelievable. We had a massage as well. Awesome...
The hosts were kind, very nice, and spoke great English or French.
One thing to say : the air conditionner makes too much noise. It's a pity for such a quiet place. The first we went in our room, we were annoyed by the ventilation. We had an explanation : there was a cooking training, so the ventilation was at its maximum. And the kitchen ventilation was linked to our room. It's something to change from my point of view :)
