3 weeks of staying all around Sri Lanka and Malu Banna was one of our most memorable experiences. Chitu and the wonderful team made our family of 11 (including 2 children) feel right at home. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for us. They happily organized boat rides on the river, Christmas morning fishing and escorted us to the beach nearby (a 5 minute boat across the river). We all enjoyed countless watersports including jet skis, sofa bed and banana boat rides at very reasonable prices. The rooms are modern, simple and spotlessly clean and I would highly recommend the laundry service also, which was cheap, efficient and even came back to us ironed. They supply a great range of food options (both Sri Lankan and Western) to suit all, and even created a special set menu for our Christmas dinner which included a fabulous spread of fresh BBQ lobster and prawns. We will always remember our Christmas at Malu Banna. Thank you again team!

I can give this place the highest marks! I only have one small comment regarding cleanliness (in the bathroom), but! In this case, this does not prevent you from giving the best marks on all fronts) Internet is great! The water is hot! The rain shower has good pressure and the breakfast is great! The water has been supplied! And we agreed on a safari on the river for 5000 for two) Great place!) 2 minutes walk to the beach) There is no fruit in the breakfast photo, they were brought a little later) They also allowed us to rinse off in the room after we had already checked out and returned to get our things) The bathroom is newly renovated))

This hotel is very new and therefore not reviewed in many places. I found it excellent for the price with a modern clean room and en-suite and pleasant deck by the small pool for sunbathing and watching river boats.
