Hampton Inn & Suites Altus

Shower area is in need of some TLC. Mold and peeling chalk. Looks dirty and neglected. Can’t change tv to hdmi input without a trip to front desk to get remote. Pool/hot tub is still not working. Stains on carpet. Old pillows that need to be replaced. For a Hampton it’s very rundown. Definitely not up to Hilton standards.

The main part of the room is ok but the bathroom shower has black mold in it. And the wallpaper is peeling. The charge point charger for phones was sticky and dirty. This motel is in need of a remodel if all the rooms are like ours. Would not stay here again.

Hilton Silver Member. The last time I stayed here this Hotel was great. This time, there were bugs in my room. The AC Unit sounds like a Jet Engine. They have really let it go downhill since they built it. I will not stay here again unless I hear that they have made some major changes. My advice is to stay somewhere else.

Ac went out, had stayed at Days Inn. Not Stayed at Days Inn for two days, not happy with room, So called Priceline, found Hampton. Room was clean and everything was looking updated, not old and runner down. Our ac went out Saturday needed some place cool.

With mold all over the bathroom and being woken up at 2:45 am with what sounded like they were remodeling the room above me. This was by far the worst stay I have ever had at a Hotel and I have stayed here several times but will be my last forsure

We have stayed there several times over the last few years. This time seemed different. Room dirty Bathroom smelled foul Brother’s room full of large roaches Roaches in hallway Crickets throughout Air conditioning loud popping on and off Pool spa out Probably won’t stay there again.

Hilton Diamond member. By far the worst hotel I've checked in to. Upon entering, we found live bed bugs. This is in addition to the 2 dozen roaches and crickets in the lobby and stairwell. When we addressed with the night manager she acknowledged not only the bugs, but that the pool and workout rooms have been temporarily closed - for over 2 years. Seriously, this place is a dump and should not be open, let alone a Hilton brand.

The hotel is even worse than a motel. Never stay at this property! Its dirty, filthy, smelly and the staff do not want to take care of its guests. Extremely unhygienic hotel. The room was infested with crickets and other bugs, had a very strong pet smell, almost that of a dog urine. The bed had a dead spider on it, which showed how long ago the room was cleaned.

First, I must say the Staff at this Hampton Inn hotel is outstanding! The Guest Service Staff are very friendly and accommodating! The Housekeeping Staff are great! They keep the hotel very clean! Even the Guest Service Staff clean the lobby and breakfast area daily! They work hard to keep the hotel clean and inviting. The Breakfast Staff is great, too! The issue is with Hilton and the lack of support the Hilton Brand is giving to this hotel. This facility is in need of a renovation! It is long overdue! The staff does the best they can do with what they have, with what higher management gives them. This hotel gets a lot of business and the consistent wear is taking its toll. The pool has been closed for months! The fitness center is closed. Side exit door card readers haven’t worked in months! Wall paper is coming off, furniture and bedding are worn. We frequently come to Altus for business and to visit friends. We really appreciate the hotel staff and how hard they work to keep this hotel up. It’s time for an interior refresh, Hilton!
