Traumhafter Ort, super Hotel. Besonders nett ist die ältere Schweizerin mit Brille, die im Service arbeitet - eine wahre Blume, die mit ihrer herzlichen Art noch das Tüpfchen aufs i setzt :-).

Bereits der Empfang im Hotel war wunderbar und äusserst freundlich. Man fühlte sich von Anfang an wohl. Im sauberen und ruhigen Zimmer konnten wir wunderbar schlafen. Sogar fein duftende Rituals-Prdukte sind im Bad vorhanden. Ein zusätzliches schönes Plus! Das Frühstück war vielfältig, regional und gut und die nette Dame, die fürs Buffet zuständig war, rundete den tollen Gesamteindruck noch ab. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Traditional hotel in the heart of Toggenburg
Convenient hotel in Waldhaus Alt St. Johann with a nice terrace, even if a bit dated. Very friendly service. Ask for a room away from the main road for absolute silence at night ;-)

We staid 3 days in Säntis Lodge and I can definitely recommend it as for a short stay and for a long vacation. The hotel is very well maintained! The people, who work there really care about the customers. The room we had (137) was very spacious, with a big balcony and comfy bed. The hotel has an inside children entertaining room (including a cinema room!) and outside playground. Breakfast is excellent and oriented for kids as well. We had dinner twice and both times were happy with quality of food, how fast it was served, representation and taste. There are a lot of hiking trails around. You can find easy routes with kids (e.g. Klangweg Toggenbutg) at Iltios cable car or Laui and a lot of options for experienced hikers. If you are interested in tennis or bouldering, there is a sport center 300 meters away. Coop supermarket is also in walking distance. Unterwasser public pool is very close! We would definitely get back to the hotel another time! Very welcoming and cozy place.

sehr gute Lage, Zimmer sind relativ alt, aber sauber und geräumig. Matratzen durchgelegen, Bett knarzt. Für den Listenpreis zu teuer, mit Aktionspreis absolut passend. Restaurant: Essen sehr bescheiden, praktisch jeder Gast hat einen entsprechenden Kommentar gemacht (bei mir sehr schlecht gewürzt und nicht heiss). Die Bedienung, die den Chef hätte unterstützen sollen, war völlig überfordert, obwohl es wenig Gäste hatte.

Sehr gepflegtes Hotel wir waren über Pfingsten da und waren sehr zufrieden besonders dem freundlichen Personal sowie dem Wirt im Restaurant! Die Zimmer sind einfach eber gepflegt und alles funktioniert. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut.nehmt das schwarze Schwein super lecker! Wir würden wieder kommen
