one night stay but truly remarkable
Superior experience in every way. The whole hotel was built in high quality. the room was very comfortable, the breakfast filled with local specialties, outdoor pool is simply amazing and the staff most helpful. Highly recommended to try for short or longer visit, with or without family. Lake Balaton beach (Alsoors) is walking distance.

Auch dieses Jahr war der Urlaub im Hotel Mayer in Alsooers / Ungarn wieder Spitze. Neu war in diesem Jahr ein super schöner Whirlpool. Und das Personal vom Gärtner bis zum Chef ist mega freundlich und aufmerksam. Für alle gibt es von uns fünf Sterne.

Hotel Mayer Alsoors exceeded our expectations! The hotel staff was wonderful about transporting us to and from the train station in the hot weather. Great location just 1 mile from the marina, train/bus station and close to restaurants. The hotel property is stunning and maintained beautifully. Our room was good size, very clean with comfortable linens and pillows. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and enjoying the swim up bar. We didn’t use the sauna but were impressed with its size. The outdoor covered patio area is large and a great place for ordering snacks and drinks. Every area of the hotel and property is immaculate! Lots of great options at breakfast which was included. We love this hotel and only wish we had more time here!

Soddisfazione del cliente e attenzione per tutti i servizi offerti … in una sola definizione … quello che vorresti trovare nell’ospitalità ungherese e non solo: questo è saper fare turismo! Hotel pulito, ben curato all’interno, personale gentile e disponibile, bel giardino... Forse la cucina si può migliorare un po’. … In poche parole consigliato.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. Breakfast is always substantial and there is the choice of continental or hot food. The spa area is clean and easy to use with a salt room, infra red, normal sauna and cold bucket. The pool has bubble jets for massage. The pool is open all day and evening and serves lovely food as well as a selection of drinks. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. All the amenities one would expect. Little restaurants, shops and bars nearby. The hotel is close to the promenade, beach bars, ablation and in a central location to get to places like Heviz and the airport. The Furdo is a lovely little lakeside area with cafes, sunbeams and lake access and is also amazing for kids. I really can't recommend enough, we had an amazing time and would go back here in a second.
