房間還可以,過道一股酸臭味,櫃姐像新手一樣,辦入住花了不少時間,酒店四周荒涼,戈壁。

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Alpine on our way back from visiting Big Bend National Park. Its easy to find, on the main road in town. Parking is fine, fairly level, and they provide carts to haul your luggage. Front desk staff was OK. Polite. Our room was good. Average in size, clean, decent decor. Beds were good, with good sized pillows. A bit too firm for me. TV worked fine. Internet worked fine, as well. AC worked well. Bathroom was well lit and functional. Looked a bit dated, but nothing really in disrepair. Everything worked, plenty of hot water. Good towels, good bath products. Breakfast was good. Lots of hot options, including sausage, eggs, oatmeal, and Sausage & biscuits. Coffee was good, very hot. Limited sweeteners on the day we were there. So a good stay. Seemed to us an older property, but well cared for and clean. Nothing outstanding, but nothing wrong , either.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Alpine is a small town, so even off a main road, the room was perfectly quiet. Breakfast was usual Holiday Inn Express egg omelettes, sausage patties, bagels, english muffins, pancake machine, milk, yogurt, etc, which I consider to be above average, so great! Staff was fantastic and friendly, room was very clean, plenty of parking. You'll be farther from the park, but won't lack for any comforts. Great stay

We enjoyed the pool at this hotel but it was disappointing when I forgot to pack my bathing suit after checking out, and we returned only one day later after spending a night in Big Bend, and it was not found in lost items. Other than that nothing to complain about but this incidence was even more disappointing as we had paid $170 including tax per night for this stay. Not sure if this is a normal price for a weekday in Alpine.

The hotel was welcoming with a very nice check-in guy who was very helpful. The room was clean, modern and had big TV with many cable channels. The double queen beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom was bright and clean with Dove products. Shower had plenty of hot water with strong water flow. The extensive breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold foods. There were fresh cooked scrambled eggs, omelets, sausage (2 types), biscuits, gravy with sausage bits, and a cool 3 pancake maker in one minute machine. It was just fun watching it being made. 🙂 They had cooked oatmeal, breads, cinnamon rolls, yogurt varieties and fruits. It was a nice last resort to modern amenities before we trekked to Big Bend where it was very remote and primitive. Traveling to this part of the country could be a problem when many places were closed early or short on gas. We were here during a holiday weekend.

As platinum members, they upgraded us to a suite which was great until we went in the bathroom and saw that it was handicap. We wouldn't have been upset if it had a full size vanity, but it didn't, what it had was a vanity that was so small, we had to put most of our toiletry items on the back of the toilet, the rest we had to put in the b edroom which is inconvenient when you're trying to get dressed in the morning without waking up your spouse. If it had a vanity half the size of the kitchen counter that was in the bedroom, our stay would have been much better and easily would have rated 5 Stars as the shower pressure was great and the breakfast bar was one of the best with a great selection.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Alpine for four nights while exploring Big Bend and surrounding areas. Very few hotels are absolutely perfect, but we liked this one. Expectations were exceeded in some ways, and there are a few things that need improvement. * Room had everything we needed - it was well-lit, had all the right amenities, towels, toilet paper and tissue, and a placard that offered any things we might have forgotten to bring. Small fridge and microwave, k-cup coffee maker with supplies. Luggage holder, safe, even an iron and ironing board available in a roomy closet. * King bed and pillows very comfortable for us. * Room service was very good - fresh towels and bed made every day, room fairly clean, though the walls could use a good cleaning. * Shower head really needs replaced, or at least cleaned. Some of the holes were clogged and the spray was going all over the place. It couldn't be adjusted. And though we had the shower curtain completely closed, water ended up pooled on the floor. * Nice-looking pool and fitness room, though not open at posted hours sometimes. * Very nice, big dining room that guests have access to at all hours. * Breakfast was much better than at other hotels - hot, fresh, tasty, plenty of variety and with some healthy options. Great coffee and juices. Pancakes out of the machine were delicious. * There was a reception in the dining room on weekdays, with snacks and sometimes wine for the guests. * At check-in for us and others we noticed, there was a several minute wait for staff to appear. Check-out was very easy and efficient. * Key cards were unreliable. Sometimes it took several tries to get them to work, though eventually they would. * Room wasn't sound-proof at all. The guest in room above us walked like a herd of elephants across the floor, also you could hear the doors in hallway slamming when they were closed. We didn't report the few minor negative issues we had, simply because we felt the positive things far outweighed the negative for this hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or stay here again!

We’ve stayed in a lot of holiday inns over the years and this was one of the best ones. The room was spacious and d comfortable. No weird mold or lingering smoke smells. The breakfast area was nice and the common areas clean. Our room was clean and the bed was great. Our shower was very slow to drain but it didn’t bother me that much. Overall a great stay if you’re visiting Davis Mountains or Big Bend area

It's over all a clean place. The breakfast area was nice, the lady Saturday/Sunday morning, so sorry I didn't get her name, was spot on with everything. She keep it stocked, clean and tidy. Even fighting to keep up with the lack of a refrigerator for quest milk/yogurt, it has been out for quite a while as I understand. The lobby, hallways and outside were well kept. Even the smoking area was clean no butts anywhere. The rooms, well could use more attention. It is carpet that I really hate. There is no way to get it clean and vacuum in the areas unless you move bed/nightstand etc. I carry flip/flops for the room. The tub was stopped up and showered in a pool, yick, hubby investigated it was stopped up with lots of very long black hair. I almost lost my dinner. The room & refrigerator were both warm, my meds have to say cool. Leaving the door to cabinet open helped to cool it down faster with a bucket of ice to help. With that said, we would stay here again.
