Viejas Casino & Willows Hotel

This was not our first visit, but a total let-down on several levels; 2 pot lights hanging down from the bathroom ceiling, and it took 2 trips by maintenance to correct. The room was nice and clean upon check-in, but there was not light service for the first 3 days! Meaning fresh towels and someone to simply make the bed. My wife DID NOT come on holidays to make her own bed and to conserve on bath towels or soap. In discussion they agreed in principle that if 5 couples checked in to the same room day after day, each would get full service prior to check in, so why do we get short-served at a supper high nightly stay price? Also, when the Valet said that we could not bring Alcohol into the ******, and we said this $150 dollar wine is going to our room, we were told could not take it in. Apparently there is fine print at the check-in counter. I called them out, stating just because we took it to our room does not mean we are going to open it. They searched our bag. I raised a stink. And walked away. Never going back.

Horrible ******, employees are not very well informed. You can’t win anything, slots are very tight. The food is OK but the employees are very rude. The hotel is fair, very highly overpriced. I wouldn’t waste my time going to this place because it will just take everything from you

We always stay at the Willows if available. It is a mini suite with luxurious bedding and mini bar. I highly recommend spending a couple nights. Perfect place to unwind. The bathroom is oversize with a rain 2 headed shower. I can't wait to go back.

Review for Bingo. It says everywhere including their website, seats are first come, first served. Not true. We get there 2 hours!!!! before Bingo starts and many many seats (the good ones) are reserved. Not with a paid buy in, just this guy who goes around reserving for his friends, I guess he has 50 of them! So we have to squeeze in where we can, then his friends do not show, but too late to move! The Bingo Manager (term used loosely) does not seem to care. She says the reserved seats are for Tribal Elders but no way this is the case. All you want is fairness. You will not get this here. We stayed two nights in the hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean with wonderful, large bathrooms. The room has a coffee maker and refrigerator also. The ****** is fun and has a great variety of machines to play. All staff members were very professional and friendly.

The ****** has a lot of newer slots but they feel very packed together. I'm used to non smoking Barona so Viegas was a let down. At least they have REAL slot machines and not FAKE bingo machines as they do in the other ******. I'm not even sure how they legally call the ones in Bingo/Slot parlor actual slot machines? A bit illegal. Either way we only stayed an hour as it was Smokey and large bets paid nothing on bonuses. But the shuttle driver, Sherry, was a true delight! Won't be back.
