Terrible. The entire hotel is extremely warm. The lobby, the hallways. You can turn your AC on in your bedroom, but it never really gets cold. Housekeeping came only once in the seven days we were there, despite us requesting them to come. When I asked for additional shampoo and conditioner, I was giving used bottles, that were less than a third full. My teenage children and I were yelled at by a young lady who is one of the employees daughters. She finds it amusing to police the pool area. The entire experience was underwhelming, and disappointing. Breakfast was OK. But it ends at 9 AM. The few days that we got to sleep in, we missed it entirely.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Hyatt Place Windward Parkway ( 5595 Windward Pkwy) was so bad I felt obligated to warn others. This place is an absolute disaster. First off, the refrigerator in the room didn’t work at all – totally useless. I had diabetic medicine, food and drinks that needed to stay cold, and when I asked the front desk for help, they said there was nothing they could do - but order matainence - that never came to the room during the two night business stay!!! No replacement, no fix, just a shrug - and no change of room allowed. Same story with the air conditioning – it barely worked, if at all in July for Georgia. The room was hot and stuffy, and trying to sleep in that was nearly impossible. The water pressure was pathetic. I’ve experienced better showers at a roadside gas station. Don’t expect to get clean or relaxed – it’s more of a sad trickle than a proper shower. To make matters worse, the hotel is extremely understaffed. It took forever to check in, and forget about asking for anything during your stay – there’s never anyone around, and the staff who are there seem overworked and uninterested in helping. For the price I paid, I expected at least basic comforts, but Hyatt Place didn’t deliver even that. Absolutely unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and book at the Hyatt Place by North Point Mall or literally anywhere else. Dr. J Quincy

My husband and I were traveling to Alpharetta for two nights for a medical reason. We do not stay in hotels very often but I do know that when I shopped by price I was hoping to receive a room that was clean and a bed that was comfortable. We did in fact receive that. What I was not expecting is how the staff would react when my husband had a medical emergency that landed him in the hospital during our stay. The kindness I received from the general manager, Sue, she went out of her way to help me during this trying time. It did not end there. The employees of the hotel never failed to ask how my husband was doing and did I need anything. They went out of their way to give me assistance when I really needed it but did not want to bother anyone. Although the hotel is showing its' age the heart of the hotel, its' people are a refreshing change.

This hotel has great reviews, but I'm done with Hyatt. This was my second night at a Hyatt that week, and they both had the same problem. The rooms have a lot of space and are nicely decorated, but why go to that trouble and expense, then be so cheap with the showers and water. The shower head is a low-flow that barely puts out any water, and the water is so soft, it won't wash off any soap or shampoo! Combine those two and I'm left with soapy hair and body. If it won't take off the soap, it certainly didn't remove anything from my body. I was better off not getting in at all. At least I wouldn't have had the frustration.
