Holly Lodge

Had a great stay at Holly Lodge B&B has everything you need. Quiet location only a few minutes walk to Alnwick center with restaurants, cafe's & pubs. Reserved secure off street parking. Rooms spotlessly clean, quiet & comfortable. Shower gel, fan,hair dryer, kettle, tea, coffee, water & biscuits provided. Good choice for breakfast including fresh local produce & eggs from owners hens. Owners George and Jackie run a great B&B have stayed many times never disappointed .will be booking again for next year.

Parking space was ample and assigned which we liked. George is a great host and very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Room and bed was spacious and bathroom clean and nice. Enjoyed our stay! If ever back in Alnwick we will stay there again.

Fabulous hosts and excellent accommodation. Holly lodge is within very easy walking distance of all the major Alnwick attractions (including the castle) and restaurants. The room was lovely , the breakfasts excellent and the hosts extremely approachable and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend

I have stayed at Holly Lodge on a couple of occasions in recent months just for a well-deserved break. The staff greet you with a warm and friendly attitude and Jackie & George will do anything you need (within reason) to make sure you have a fantastic stay. The Rooms are spotless, and the facilities are well maintained, the Lodge’s cleanliness surpassed my expectations. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. The choice of breakfast is amazing with the food sourced locally and home made by Jackie herself and they are deliciously scrumptious, she is the hostess with the mostest !! Alnwick itself is a lovely town with a Castle, well worth the visit. You can choose from country rambles and lovely seaside walks within short distances. Provided by the Lodge are leaflets of “Local facilities”, Where to Go & What to Do. This is a wonderful place for a short break or longer if you want to chill, relax and take in the countryside and shorelines. Thank you, Jackie & George you are wonderful hosts. I will be back

Not been for a while but had the most wonderful stay again with George and Jackie. Accommodating as usual. Such a lovely breakfast. I chose the kipper pate which Jackie had made with some lovely fresh brown toast. My husband chose the full English, which again did not disappoint. The bed was very comfortable and Room 1 was very spacious and scrupulously clean. George and Jackie never fail to make us most welcome and we will definitely return at some point.

Excellent stay at Holly Lodge. Lovely large room, very clean with comfortable king size bed. Good size bathroom, also very clean. Owners very friendly & helpful. Cooked breakfast was excellent, and good choice on menu for other options. Near to town centre, couple of minutes walk to pubs/restaurants. Secure on site parking too. Would definitely return & recommend to friends. Enjoyed watching the hens/cockerel from our window.
