Stay away from this place. It looks nice but definitely the worst hotel experience ever. Something is clearly wrong with the place as all the staff appear to have quit and the management is chaotic and dishonest. I booked but decided not to stay as it clearly wasn't as advertised. I was promised a refund but it has not arrived despite several reminders.

Booked a Queen double in the Annex without high expectations due to mixed reviews. Positively surprised by a warm welcome by two gentle and helpful Polish staff members. Got a quite large, nice and atmospheric room on 2nd floor with comfy beds and partial lake view. In the manor building access was limited to the hall due to an upcoming wedding that occupied lounges and restaurant. Nonetheless, the following morning a part of the beautiful restaurant room was made accessible for breakfast buffet for hotel guests. Breakfast quite basic, below the manor (price) level, but was compensated by the fabulous terrace with park and lake view. Very friendly and hard working staff. With an upgraded breakfast, more staff and better outdoor maintenance the place with its atmosphere, location and tranquility could be a bestseller, also for non-event hotel guests. NB: Check the cafe and orangery across the road.
