The hotel itself is amazing but:
- Shower door did not close properly and therefore we got "floods" everyday in the toilet.
- Mosquitos: I do understand that we are in a "wild" enviroment but it was amazing every time we open the curtain of the terrace how were falling many mosquitos. During the night, going to the toilet was an expirience as well. Too many mosquitos...they should try to do something with this.
- Meals: they do not include beverage, its normal until you are charged 3'5€ for an opened bottle of water when they should serve or at least give the option to have it for free since the law says that.
- Checkin: the girl of the counter just told us, "hey scan this QR code and everything is explained", why shall I download an app of the hotel? is it so hard to explain just in few second all the activities of the hotel?
- Breakfast: Bakery quality worse than any other hotel I tried...
Speaking about amenities hotel is perfect, big pools, nice decoration, buffet was ok and it has direct access to the beach. Its a pity that the service is not at Barcelo level standards.

I was staying at the Barcelo as part of the ITAA confrence. The conference was for 5 days. Along with specific activities relating to theconference we did get some down time to enjoy the facilities.

En este Hotel te encuentras como en casa, nada de estres, muy relajante y las vistas desde la habitacion son espectaculares. El bufet del desayuno tiene lo que todos, nada que destacar aunque mejorable. Se agradece el bar del hall para un respiro si no quiere hacer uso del bufet

Der sehr angenehme Aufenthalt fing schon an der Rezeption an. Der Check Inn und die Beantwortung unserer Fragen war sehr professionell. Sehr schöne Zimmer mit balkon und Meerblick. Vom Frühstück und dem Abendbuffet war wir sehr begeistert, sowie vom Service beim Essen.

Voy a Barcelos casi siempre pero a este ya no vuelvo, lo de la piscina para los niños (tengo 4 pequeños) es primordial y las últimas 2 veces (tienes uan queja mía de mayo sobre el tema) y ahora vuelvo y lo mismo y eso que llame para preguntar, no entiendo que en recepcion no sepan el problema

We came here for a work conference at the exposition center across the street. This hotel was lovely, with multiple salt water pools, nice gardens, friendly staff, easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the extensive buffet menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on multiple occasions. The hotel is a bit far from Almeria's city center (~20-25 minute taxi ride from the bus station), but there is public transportation to the city. We would happily come back here again.
