Wij hebben 9 dagen hier gestaan met onze caravan, het was even wennen omdat je op een stenen grond moest staan en dat heeft ook voordelen. Je kan op deze camping heel gezellig zitten om iets te drinken, je kan ook iets van eten bestellen en dat wordt dan geregeld door de eigenaar. Wat heel bijzonder is, dat als je b.v. een pizza had besteld, ging ze netjes een tafeltje voor je dekken met een bord en mes en vork . Het zijn ontzettende lieve mensen. De omgeving is ook schitterend, zeker een aanrader. Er komen wel veel mensen met een camper en de plekken zijn klein en is ook niet goedkoop, wij betaalde 33 euro p.nacht. Nogmaals het zijn eigenaren met passie voor wat ze doen, echt top. Onze dochter en schoonzoon hebben in een appartement geslapen op de zelfde camping en dat was uitstekend. Het douchen was prima en superschoon en lekker warm water ook om af te wassen. Eigenaren heel erg bedankt voor de gastvrijheid. Liefs Paula, Fran, Kim en Dane Brouwenstijn uit Rozenburg

Découvert par hasard en fin d'après midi aux guidons de nos motos pour y passer une nuit. En lisant les commentaires précédents dithyrambiques vous aurez une idée assez juste du lieu. Des infrastructures, des services à disposition et de l'accueil. Je rajouterai le charme incontestable de l'hôtesse qui saura captiver votre attention dans un excellent français . . . . . Een top locatie om te staan met de mobilhome ,zeer rustig met een gezellige buitenbar en terras,super proper sanitair, dicht bij de prachtige kathedraal op loopafstand van de camping. En het belangerijkste de eigenaars zouden werkelijk ALLES doen om je het zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken ,twee top mensen , niets was hen te veel ,zeker een dikke 10/10 voor ons

We had a warm welcome by Clara & we could choose our own spot for the tent which are on different levels. You can't park next to your tent but we did have a lovely shady spot and the motorbikes were parked close by overlooking the tent. Motorbikes felt completely safe at all times. The camping spots dont have electric but you can use charging points around the reception. The toilets/showers were kept clean all day & there was no queueing.The outdoor bar area is open during the day and all evening. Main meals and Pizzas can be delivered to the site. Clara and her husband are so helpful and work incredibly hard, absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Somebody had a car problem while we were there, Clara got someone to look at it on a Sunday as well as liasing with the breakdown company in UK. Please ask Clara for any information for the surrounding areas, we got told off for not doing so & missed a lovely spot for a picnic by the river :) I would recommend Camping Lamego.

We couldn’t recommend more this owner run site a few minutes walk from the Sanctuary. Clean, quiet and good views across the valley. There is space for approximately 25 motorhomes and if you’ve a tent, there are great pitches up above. Bar area and restaurant delivered food, what else could you desire?

Camping atypique, ici pas de grand espace herbeux, vous vous sentirez plutôt invité sur la terrasse d'une demeure familiale de caractère. Bien entendu les sanitaires sont d'une propreté irréprochable. Ce qui rend ce camping inoubliable c'est l'extrême gentillesse et serviabilité des propriétaires, toujours disponibles pour aider, réserver etc ... Toujours un petit mot gentil, un conseil. Leur bar est super agréable, ils ont une jolie sélection de portos et vins, vous expliquent les différences, la provenance. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour et sommes partis le cœur gros comme si nous quittions des amis

We loved this place. They have a nice bar and a gourmet dinner service. The hostess is very kind and helpful - a professional wine connoisseur. Don't miss the tawny port. The facilities are exceptionally clean. The location is on a hill top and has a great view.
