We had a great company retreat at the Strandhotellet. The food at the hotel was great, the staff even better and the rooms are newly renovated as the rest of the hotel. Can only recommend for team offsites as well as for leisure trips. The location could not be better.

Never reserve a room here
Worst experience ever….arrived after long day of biking only to find our reservations could not be honored because the gave our rooms to a larger group. Never received a cancellation notice. We did find another hotel at same price that was much nicer.

Great ambiance, beautiful decor, friendly staff, and delicious locally sourced breakfast; my husband and I had an incredible two-night stay here and would visit again in a heartbeat.

We had originally booked an Air BnB - only to discover that it was not ready for guests (lacking sheets and blankets) - so after 1 miserable night were SO fortunate to find 3 connected rooms here. Casper and Pia are incredible hosts, and the hotel exudes charm, history, and cool vibes. We loved the serenity of our views & being away from TVs and the modern world. No Cocktail Bar, No In Room TVs, and no room service…just peace, serenity and community. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ICONIC EXPERIENCE!!!

The location and interior is quite nice. The waiters are young students with caps and that did very well. However the food was average and are served without any vegetables, potatoes or like. If you would like some sides you have to order it separately. But extremely expensive e.g. a small portion of fries 75,- dkr.

Dejlig morgenmad men vores værelse var på 2. sal. Der var skrå vægge som sengen stod under det var svært at komme i den. Man skulle selv be om at få værelset gjort rent vi boede der i 6 nætter vi fik gjort rent 1 gang. Gangen lugtede grimt nok pga de gamle tæpper. Vi gav over 9000 for opholdet så det var for dyrt i forhold til hvad vi fik.
