I had high expectations given the reputation of Sterling Resorts, but my experience was far from satisfactory. Here are the key issues I faced during my stay: 1. Room Allocation and Condition: - On the first night, I was assigned Room 208 with twin beds joined together, despite booking a room with a king-size bed. The makeshift arrangement was unstable, causing my 2-year-old, who sleeps between my wife and me, to slip into the gap between the beds. This made our night extremely uncomfortable. - The air conditioning in Room 208 was not working, and we were shifted to Room 205. However, even this room was not clean—there was visible dirt on the study table. 2. Food Quality: - On the second day, I ordered ginger tea, but what I received was undrinkable. The cup was half-filled with masala, making the tea extremely bitter and unpleasant. This was a basic request, and such poor quality was unexpected. 3. Housekeeping and Cleanliness: - The recreational room, where I played table tennis, was dirty and had not been swept. - The toddler play area was messy and poorly maintained. - After giving my room for cleaning, I returned to find used beer and wine glasses left unattended. This lack of attention to detail was disheartening. 4. Overall Maintenance: - Basic upkeep across the resort seemed neglected. These shortcomings reflect poorly on a property of Sterling Resorts' stature. While I must commend the staff for their respectful and cooperative behavior, the overall service was far below expectations. After the second day, I stopped raising concerns as it was evident that the issues would remain unresolved. I have attached photographs to corroborate my grievances. A resort of this caliber should not face such basic lapses in service and maintenance. I strongly urge you to address these issues to prevent similar experiences for future guests.
