Location and view is marvelous. I would highly recommend this place if you want to relax and enjoy good food. Boating ride we took the package from the hotel and it was very reasonable for full 2 hours of ride over backwaters and it was awesome. Staff is very friendly and prompt.

If you are looking for a perfect getway to somewhere peaceful alleppey is the place especially at sterling lake palace. I travelled solo and couldnt thank the staff enough for making it a memorable one for me. They were so kind and always ready to help. The resort is beautiful with very good amenities. Food is lovely too Thank you tooo Alush, Shahini, Aju santosh TK,Sabu and Abhilash from the restaurant as well as Manoj who got me safely and comfortably to the airport. Not forgetting the wonderful Ayurvedic spa they have thanx Dr Vishnu and Elizabeth.

We absolutely loved the relaxed feel of this place. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area is just brilliant, a real sun trap. The food was great too. We had a beautiful room. Yes there is a flyover just outside which is such a shame. But it did not detract from a fabulous stay. Great if you want a little escape from the business and having a bar is a huge bonus in this part of the world.

The atmosphere at kerala houseboat was truly remarkable. From the moment i arrived, i was greeted with warmth and hospitality, which set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The ambiance was serene and inviting, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cleanliness of the rooms was exemplary. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the efforts made to maintain a pristine environment throughout my stay. The staff at kerala houseboat were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Their professionalism and dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction were commendable. From check-in to check-out, i felt well taken care of and valued as a guest. Just located infront of the beach, small resort with 8 rooms. Thomas owner of the resort was there always to take care of all our needs. Neat and clean room with good amenities. Small garden area to relax in the evening with shades from ***go trees. Car parking is available inside the resort . Quality breakfast was included in room rate , homely south india food was given and it was hygienic and tasty. Option for omelette with bread toast also available. Value for money, great place to stay. Will definitely stay here on my next visit too.

Had made a bulk booking of nine rooms for a wedding function. I was a visitor from Canada. Housekeeping was a disaster. Very rude staff. No hot water in rooms and after complaining numerous times some of the bathrooms were somehow furnished with hot running water. Numerous rooms had broken doors in the shower cabinets. Rooms infested with mosquitoes in the evenings especially during this time of contagious diseases. Basement parking seldom has parking space. Had requested for a detailed bill on previous day of checkout and on checkout day front office informed bill was not ready and would email the same but till date no email from them. I suspect I have been overcharged but out of courtesy did not dispute the amount they charged me and also since I was leaving did not have time for argument. Would not recommend anyone to stay at the hotel especially tourists or anyone intending to book multiple rooms
