Zimmerausstattung mit billigsten peudoamerkanischen Versatzstücken, die wie von Flohmarkt aussahen ... nicht jedermanns Geschmack. Balkon so winzig, dass er gerade mal als Raucherbalkon geeignet war. Zum Abendessen ein Rumpsteak medium bestellt -- serviert wurde stattdessen ein fast rohes Stück Fleisch voller Sehnen mit einer Art Pommes Frites, die ebenfalls fast ungenießbar waren. Zwar gab es dafür einen Preisnachlass und einen Schnaps, aber das machte den hungrigen Magen auch nicht satt ... Zum Frühstück dann billigste unappetitliche Wurst- und Käsewaren wie von Aldi, wässriger O- Saft, an 2 von 3 Tagen kein Naturjoghurt verfügbar.

God service, underlig indretning. Service på hotellet var fin, der var rent, og mad i restauranten var fin. De valg der er taget omkring dekoration af hotellets lokaler og værelser, falder nok ikke i alles smag. Det var underligt dekoreret med gips relieffer på vægen med flammer og underlige billeder. Men kan man se ud over det, så var det fint.

We booked 4 nights in a "superior design room" with a double bed and balcony. The room, bathroom and toilet are small, but modern and contemporary in design and furnishings. The mattress is very comfortable to lie on and sleep on. The balcony is a "smoking balcony" for 1 person. With 2 people it is more than tight. Room service We have never experienced anything like this in our lives: Room service "on demand", i.e. ONLY IF you as a guest specifically request it and hang a corresponding note on the doorknob, the beds are made and the room wiped down once - if that would work. Unfortunately, this service, which is actually completely normal - was not provided - even after the note was put up. OK, we all make mistakes and forget things sometimes, but it is still annoying for the paying guest. The next day the room was made immediately after breakfast. Add ons or additional services The fact that the services offered and published and the services actually offered in the Waldgasthotel can certainly drift apart was also shown by the fact that the wellness area with pool and sauna could not be used for "technical reasons". However, there was no discount due to the limited range of services! Café Créma? At the first breakfast, we were greeted with brown water declared as coffee, which came out of a professional catering machine. Completely undrinkable! After we pointed this out, the grinding level was increased so that the next day coffee and not water came out of the machine. Due to the economical choice of beans, however, it was still light years away from a good coffee Créma. Créma = not a thing! But at least the coffee was now drinkable. Friendly staff The staff were always friendly and courteous. Breakfast offer The breakfast buffet meets the lower hotel standards and therefore expectations. In our opinion, it is cold cuts and cheese from the supermarket!? We don't want to forget to mention that small, tasty smoked sausages were served with the scrambled eggs. However, in keeping with the rural region with its rustic food offerings, we would have wanted and expected a little more. A hearty liver sausage from the local butcher, for example, from someone who still knows his trade, instead of standard stuff from the supermarket. From 9 a.m. onwards, the salami and the cured ham were also gone. Neither was replenished. So, to be honest: a regular check, accompanied by replenishing faulty products for guests who have breakfast later, is standard hotel practice and as a guest you don't want to keep running to reception and asking for refills. Well thought-out handling? The jam jars came with spoons that were far too short for taking them out, which means that you inevitably get your fingers in the jar.

Das Personal im Hotel und im Restaurant war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Zimmer waren sauber und es war alles da was man braucht. Für Kinder gibt es einen Billard Raum, Kicker Raum, Air Hockey, Darts Zimmer etc. Das Hotel hat im Aussenbereich einen Spielplatz und bietet die Möglichkeit sofort Wandern zu gehen. Es sind direkt Routen am Hotel. Die Küche hat 7 Tage die Woche geöffnet und das durchgehend. Das Essen war gut und Vegetarier sind dort auch gut aufgehoben. Preis Leistung stimmt und alle sehr freundlich.
