The New Lantern Motel

We went for St. Bonaventure parents weekend and stayed 2 nights. The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable! An air conditioner, nice sized fridge, beautiful bathroom, and a spacious closet made our stay wonderful! There was a serve yourself breakfast option that was extremely convenient and the office staff was very friendly. I forgot my kindle and they called me right away and kept it safe until my daughter could pick it up. The price was affordable and not gouged like other hotels in Olean during this popular weekend. We won't be staying anywhere else, this place is great!

I have been a returning customer at the New lantern motel over the last four years.The staff is always friendly and very accommodating.The rooms are really nice inside and very clean.When I stayed here this past August of 2024 I had car trouble and I could not make the two hour drive home.Jeff the owner went the extra mile and helped me get my car fixed so I could make the drive home.I know from personal experiences you won't find help like this from your big chain Hotels.

This was the second time we stayed at this property. Disappointed that management was not there when we arrived and the office locked with a note to call @ number. We tried calling numerous times with no answer. Thank goodness a wonderful former employee happened to be on site that was able to help us get checked in. Kudos to her!

We came into town at the last minute for a funeral. The room and property were just as clean and new as featured in the photos on the website. Beds were comfortable. The check-in was smooth and the staff member was helpful and accommodating.

Road trip Nice little conveniently located motel. Very quiet.

Fraud place Beware of your safety Small rooms Heating system not proper No internet Could hear noise from next rooms I am frequent traveler. This is the first time I am writing a bad review I called the manager and confirmed there is internet service before booking When we reached the hotel there was no internet connection in the room . I couldn’t work at all . Still we stayed one night and next day as soon as we find a person we informed her and she called the owner . Their staff came and checked and confirmed that there is no internet service in that room . Owner promised to refund the amount for the next day and we checked out . I contacted many times , more than a month and still not refunded . Looks like it is fraud place . Since it is not a genuine place now I wonder about the safety too
