My recent stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Aliso Viejo was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Three major issues left a bad impression, and I can't recommend this hotel based on my stay. First, the coffee machine in my room didn't work at all, I rely on the quick morning pick-me-up. I contacted the front desk and while they said they'd send somebody to fix it, no one ever showed up. To make matters worse, my room was not made up during my stay, when I called the front desk to complain I was told that I was informed at check in that the rooms are only made up every other day. I was not informed of this rule. No free parking. For the price I paid, I expected much better. I will not stay here again.

So disappointed in this hotel and their staff. Now I am going to have to take to every form of social media and review sites to share my experience. My husband and myself, along with another couple, stayed here a little less than a month ago. I booked the two rooms and then later canceled because my husband had more Hilton Honors status than I did. Well, not only did the hotel charge my credit card for the two rooms I cancelled, but of course my husband also paid for the two rooms when we checked out. After multiple calls to the hotel they have done nothing and literally are ignoring calls and messages from me and my husband. I even tracked down the hotel manager on LinkedIn, with no response. Terrible customer service, and so disappointing.

The room was immaculate and spacious. We had a two-room suite. The beds were very comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen but it had all the basics-- large fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, plates, cups, etc. The pool and hot tub were very nice, The full breakfast was the best included hotel breakfast I've ever had. Many hot dishes as well as beautiful fresh fruit, chia seed pudding, and overnight oats.

Good: clean and big room with full kitchen Bad: parking is $15 parking is $20 if check-in doesn't tell you parking is $15 or even mention parking (how many people walk to Aliso Viejo? Feels like a money grab.) sketchy clientele - noisy and scary domestic past 2 am? (not in my language so I couldn't assess danger beyond the yelling/screaming) street noise! on/off air conditioning with noise variation that also limited sleep cleaning! hallways lined with used bedding, saw bags of garbage for hours the next morning three bags of chips strewn down hall/ not cleaned (7-9:45) NO COFFEE? there were jugs; no liquid No breakfast staff. You will bus your table. No wipes available to clean table. Sanitizers empty

Was a good basic hotel for an affordable price. We stayed there for 2 nights, only downside was housekeeping was not daily. Breakfast was good but very busy in small buffet area. Also the buffet area was not kept clean during the morning and lot of items where finished and not refilled in time.

I wanted to be as honest as I can be to review this Hilton property. It is the worth service I have ever had to deal with and I hope the property take my review positive and improve their services that they charge for it and they do not provide. This Hilton property advertises on their site complimentary coffee and tea. You can not ever find this service. I asked for it, The answer from the front desk was it is complimentary. Why are you asking for it. I have left our garbage outside for two days. No body picks up the garbage. It is just stays where I left it. This property does not provide wipes on consistent days. I only find wipes once in seven days. It is always empty. I am still staying @ this property and I want somebody @ the big giant Hilton to hear us. We pay high prices for services advertised that they do not provide and they get away with it. There are the empty coffee makers. Empty sanitation wipes and they really do not care. I hope for this Hilton property to accept my review as a positive way to improve their services that they advertise and charge us for it and they do not provide.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this hotel. They repeatedly charged my card for random expenses without explanation. When issues arose, we were forced to rush back to the hotel, disrupting multiple plans. Despite our efforts to resolve the situation over the phone, the staff couldn't provide any clarity on the charges. After multiple attempts to rectify the situation, they claimed it was due to a lack of notes in their system. Even after resolving the issues, they attempted to charge us again on the morning of our departure. They refused to provide any documentation, insisting that everything would be sorted out upon checkout. To add insult to injury, when we asked for a late checkout due to the inconvenience, they only granted us an extra 30 minutes, showing a complete lack of empathy. Save yourself the headache and avoid this hotel at all costs.

Great place to stay. Celine at the front desk is absolutely wonderful!! I’ve worked in customer service for 15+ years and have rarely come across someone so helpful and friendly. She deserves to be recognized by management:) Thank you Celine!!
