Letsos Hotel

Lovely hotel and staff are also lovely Was there in June will deffo return. The pool is wow amazing so big .. was plenty of sunbeds and didn't have to get up early .. it may be different now in August with the kids off tho The food at the bar was also amazing ... the tuna sandwich was sooo soooo good prices are a little high but worth it

I’ll be reviewing location, food, staff, rooms and general upkeep Location: It depends what you want from a holiday and yes there are shops bars and some restaurants outside the hotel. In general though you need a cab or vehicle to get anywhere. We hired a quad and we couldn’t have done anything without it as to get to any of the main attractions which are all far apart you need a vehicle and taxis are so expensive. Food: We didn’t stay half board just self catering so I can’t comment on the actual hotels buffet but we ate at the pool bar a few times and the food was 10/10. Great selection and fresh. At nearly €7 for chips it was expensive though. Pool: The pool is lovely although it’s worth noting the photos look like they’re taken on a wide angle lens as it’s not as big as you think it is but it’s plenty big enough. There’s always enough sun beds even at 2pm when we went down we found beds. The staff who come and take food and drinks orders are great and attentive. There is no lifeguard around the pool which is worth noting. Theres also a smell from certain areas around the pool that is, let’s say, compared to a toilet. There’s also no toilets. The pool could do with some maintenance as there was broken railings, light fixtures with wires hanging out and floating on the water and general upkeep of it needs working on but at face value the pool is the best bit of the hotels. As far as I’m aware there are no “pool towels” so you have to use the ones from your room. The rooms: We had a studio and unless you are booking one of the lovely premium swim up rooms you’re put down the road in another building. The rooms are very basic and you have to pay upwards of €65 to use the aircon. I don’t like that they charge for aircon it’s a given in a hot country and I’ve never heard of this elsewhere and I’d not stay again based on that alone. There is a shop down the road that sells fans for €30 which a lot of people did. We faced the street however it wasn’t too noisy and had no problems sleeping. The room itself is just not very nice. We had constant ants coming in through the door and crawling all over the beds (see photos) and we didn’t even have any food in the room. I understand you can have ants and bugs anywhere but it was a lot. They put you in these rooms to make you want to pay the upgrade and for that reason alone I’d never come back. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels every 2 days. Staff: Staff were very helpful and I found them polite whenever I saw them and I can’t fault them - Yiota was very helpful in the lead up to the booking via email. Overall it’s a budget hotel, with an instagramable pool but unless you’re willing to pay for the luxury rooms it’s very basic elsewhere with some underlying maintenance needed for safety. There’s no evening entertainment or any lifeguards you’re kind of just left to it. If you are going to stay here pay for the better rooms and hire a vehicle. But honestly I wouldn’t bother.

Avoid this hotel! Booked Letsos through Jet2 who advertise the hotel as a 3 star, but interestingly the Letsos state they are 4 star, to be honest 3 star is generous! We booked a studio room but on check in were told we had changed the room to room only which we didn’t! Spoke to jet2 rep and no one could tell us who cancelled. After paying tourist tax, air conditioning, which was pointless as it didn’t work we were in room 306 at the back of the hotel, basic, shower small, unpleasant smell from drain, towels were changed daily but were grey, I’m sure they were white at some point but washed so many times now grey. Room looked tired and dated. Pool is nice but lots of people use pool from outside and can be busy, sun beds dirty. Overall the rooms in the hotel need updating, we will not be staying here again and advise caution against anyone booking to stay here

Warning! Avoid this hotel! We booked Letsos Hotel in Zakynthos, advertised as a 4-star hotel, but what we got wouldn’t even qualify as 2 stars. The room was in terrible condition: ants on the floor, dirty walls, broken door, filthy tiles, rusty bathroom drain, and unclean bedding and towels. The toilet didn’t flush, and the entire place felt neglected and unhygienic. We reported this to the reception, but the staff were rude and dismissive. They showed us another room, which was just as dirty and in poor condition. The room we received looked nothing like the photos online – this is blatant false advertising. We paid a lot of money for this stay and it was a huge disappointment. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m also attaching photos so others won’t have to go through what we did.

Had an amazing time at Letsos hotel , being coming to Alykanas for many years , the staff couldn't be any nicer , very accompanying, rooms basic but clean , pool area very well kept no issues getting sun loungers, brilliant pool bar and staff , can't wait to return again xxx
