Apartamentos El Palmeral de Madaria

Lovely lovely apartment, beautiful and clean and very well equipped , the cleaning lady we met was very helpful and friendly,  excellent communication on WhatsApp with the receptionist, with lots of area details . my only complaint was the place outside looked very tired, no staff and the pool area was full of leaves, I felt the pool area and surrounding area could do with some attention, absolutely beautiful setting with so many palm trees, just felt the whole gardens needed some attention and cutting back. The location isn’t very central and the it’s a fair walk to restaurants imo.  This place loans itself to a refreshments  bar, vending machine don’t cut it, it would have been nice to have a cold beer or soft drink on the lovely terrace that overlooks the pool and palm trees..  Sharon Twyman

Room with a view The building and the apartment itself was very well presented with everything needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The apartment was really clean with plenty of towels if you needed them. The toiletries were eco friendly and you could get more from the housekeeper if you wanted to. The bed lovely and comfortable and there was plenty of storage for clothing if you needed it. The surroundings were splendid, so many fabulous palm trees that when by the pool you would not think you were in a residential area. My balcony looked over the pool area it was a great way to start the day sat looking over an oasis. Great location as long as you were not expecting bars and restaurants very close by and I wasn’t. I would recommend and would return. Gracias to the team for a great stay.

This place is a great location - not too far from the city centre, just round the corner from Vista Hermosa for shopping, close to the beach and really close to the motorway if you want to visit Valencia, Murcia and other cities. The pool and grounds are really secure, ideal if you have kids and the underground parking was great to have. 👍🍹☀️

Just back from 5 nights at El Palmeral. I really do not want to write this review because I wish I could keep this place a secret. (Smile). The apartments are spotless. Large Bathroom with nice walk-in shower, plenty towels and even towels for the pool. Complete kitchen, with large fridge with freezer drawers, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a ceramic stove with oven. This enabled us to travel with hand luggage only and with the state of the airports nowadays it speeds up your travel time enormously. Swimming pool is very nice, clean and refreshing. The grounds are absolutely lovely, with the palm trees, the fish pound in the back is a very tranquil place to sit for some time. We enjoyed the roof terrace at night with a nice breeze and a large lounge where you could even watch tv on a big screen. The reception at the apartment was wonderful, Carlos sent us information via WhatsApp in advance about the nearest supermarkets, restaurants and how to get to the apartments. Much appreciated. Check out was a breeze, just remove your rubbish and leave the keys in the apartment. The big AlCampo City supermarket was our favourite, but the Aldi is also close by and in the large shopping centre you will find a carrefour as well. For us, all was at walking distance (over 50 and reasonably fit). On the way to the supermarkets you go uphill but back it is downhill only and this makes a big difference. We took the 23 bus (which stops at the Hotel Daniya) to Alicante and from there the tram to San Juan Playa. A taxi is also only 10 euro’s to San Juan, so if you are travelling with more than 3 persons this might be a better option. Yes, we did see some ladies of the night in the nearby streets, but we did not bother them and they did not bother us. The place is very secure, you need the key card to enter the grounds and at night the door to the apartment building is also closed. (entry with the key card) As in all Spanish apartment the double bed is 140/150 by 190. My husband is 2.02 meters and we slept well. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough, it is a true gem!
