Don’t go here, they scam with the advertisement of buffet breakfast included but then charge at the end of stay and apologise for miscommunication. The service was appalling and they attempt to speak Spanish to talk negatively about you with colleagues in front of you hoping you don’t understand 😄. Don’t touch this place with a 10 foot pole :)

Nos hemos alojado en la zona denominada THE LEVEL. Zona que es exclusiva para adultos y ofrece una serie de servicios de bebidas y picoteo, así como unos salones privados que no están al alcance del resto de huéspedes. Lo mejor del hotel son sus trabajadores, destacar entre ellos a : Vicen, Nabila, Juan e Ignacio. Queremos agradecer su compromiso, amabilidad y también su esfuerzo constante en satisfacer a los clientes. Desafortunadamente siempre hay alguna excepción que no está a la altura de lo que se exige en un hotel de este precio y categoría. Las instalaciones y zonas comunes son correctas y acordes a lo esperado. Merece la pena alojarse en una habitación con vistas al mar, aunque evidentemente el precio es más elevado. Como aspecto a mejorar sería el tamaño de los armarios, son demasiado pequeños y con pocas perchas. En la parte más negativa hay que decir que los espectáculos nocturnos son escasos y de muy poca calidad. También necesita mejorar el restaurante TRASLUZ. Ha habido días de muchísima lentitud a la hora de servir los platos. La calidad de los alimentos es buena, pero también en algunas ocasiones se han cocinado deficientemente. La situación del hotel es muy buena. Está a pocos metros de la playa y del paseo marítimo. Es una pena que el agua de la playa esté sucia por culpa de las algas, cuyos restos cubren gran parte de la orilla sin que el Ayuntamiento se preocupe de su limpieza.

My partner & I recently stayed at The Level in Melia Alicante for my birthday. The Level Experience was 10/10, there's so much included with this! We went full board and were not dissapointed with the food! A special shout out to Andrea, she is part of the Guest Experience Team and went over and above for us during our stay. We are just back from 3 nights at the Melia. We had booked ‘the level’ just to have Adult only but we didn’t expect the service we received. The Level look after everything, you check in/out there. This is the area you have Breakfast, they serve tapas and desserts throughout the day. Free drinks, juices, fanta etc. and wine, beer etc. Get there early to get a good sunbed, as it does get busy. We loved the infinity pool. Stunning views of the beach from this area. But the best thing was the staff, everywhere in the hotel, but especially the people working in the level were so friendly, I am gluten free and when I mentioned this they made sure there was something there for me. You were always greeted with a smile and a chat and you could see them treating everyone like this. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, the view of the marina was stunning. We ate Lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant area ‘Trasluz’ and the food was exceptional. The only tip I could recommend is to have the food labelled for allergens in ‘the level’, it would make it easier on the customers with issues.

Had a lovely weekend here. The extra money was well worth it for the complimentary drinks all day, snacks and infinity pool. Our room was very comfortable , good air conditioning and gorgeous sea and beach view My only criticism is that the beds around the pool were limited and not enough for the guests. A lovely visit , can’t wait to go back

Hemos estado 3 noches alojados, aspectos negativos /positivos de mi experiencia. 4 horas de espera, hasta las 16h no nos dieron habitación , en the level a pesar de manifestar que habíamos recorrido 500km y necesidad de descansar por problemas importabtes de espalda.Piscina minúscula en el nivel the level. Escasez de ascensores y a mucha distancia de algunas habitaciones (la mía,premium the level). Bañera sin agarres con grifería bastante difícil de seleccionar el modo. Aperitivos en el nivel, de muy escasa calidad. Decepción al intentar volverme a cobrar la estancia y manifestandole que tenía tarifa prepago y sólo debía los extras que hice en el hotel Positivo, comida exquisita en el restaurante trasluz, el trato del personal muy bueno, vistas maravillosas a la playa

The hotel is lovely. The only complaints we have is that we were not told about the free bar between 6-7 pm in the level lounge. We found out the night before leaving by another customer. When we checked out the morning after, we mentioned our concern and was told “sorry the lady who checked us in was probably busy”. It was supposed to be “Level service” and we expected the same service as everyone else who checked in as we paid a premium like others did. In addition, there is a notice saying “no” reserving beds and towels will be removed after 30 mins. This is not acted on even though we mentioned only towels on beds and no bodies so we never got to use the pool.

Me va a decir que el personal estuvo a la altura. El Hotel está en buen estado y tiene unas vistas muy bonitas a la playa. Ahora viene lo malo. Como cliente Platinum, me sorprendió que este Hotel de Meliã, que tiene un precio muy alto para ser de 4 estrellas, no tenga calidad alguna en desayuno y en la comida a determinadas horas del día. Es muy muy sencillo. No puedes pagar más de 200€ y que el desayuno no esté incluido. Lo pagas y encima el desayuno Level es casi todo frío y para las tortillas debes acercarte al mostrados show cooking (esto jamás ocurre en otro Melia de nivel). Tiene casi todo a la carta durante el desayuno y con productos de calidad: no hay zumos naturales (solo naranja), nada de fruta exótica (las corrientes), jamón serrano (no ibérico), panes normales. Durante el Level, todo frío (bocadillos mediocres y mini pizzas). En fin, que es de los peores Level que he encontrado
