If being locked out of your apartment for three hours and then going to bed to wake up locked in the apartment is your idea of fun, then this is the place for you. No boring easy to get in and out in this crazy place. No, here you can enjoy wondering whether you’ll be able to access your bed for the night. Or even contemplate whether you’ll be able to get out for your flight in the morning. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. This was the reality I was faced with in positively the worst experience of a stay in my whole travelling life. Let me explain. After having been in the property a day, I went out with friends for dinner. I returned at 11pm where I had planned to spend the rest of the evening with friends before my early morning flight. After entering the apartment building, the apartment is behind a second door. Upon check in, this door was unlocked; but the owner requested I lock this door using a bolt lock whenever I left. I duly did this. All was fine until the second night. When I was unable to open this secondary door. I tried and retried the bolt lock, but the door would not give. At the time, my phone also died, so I walked the short way back to my friends, told them what had happened. They charged my phone for me, we called the owner and I was accompanied by three friends. The owners completed abdicated responsibility for this horrendous set of events and have now blamed me for damage they claimed I have made to the door. As I was locked in, any damage would have been understandable. But I did not cause any damage. Basically the owners of the property do not look after their guests. When there is a problem such as the one I encountered, it was all about covering their backs. They took no responsibility for this issue. I dread to think what would have happened had there been a fire or me or one of my guests had had a medical emergency and had to leave the property quickly. I would advise all travellers considering using this property to think again. The owners are unscrupulous and will do anything to avoid the responsibility that all owners have towards their guests. The owner is refusing to refund my security deposit, claiming that I damaged the door. Despite this traumatic experience at his hands, he puts all the blame onto me. This is not a safe place in which to stay. Avoid this property at all costs.

Superb Apartment in the centre of Alicante The apartment was immaculate , I cannot rate the property highly enough. It’s in a fabulous location , perfect to see Alicante. The communication was outstanding, so efficient and polite
