The new owners are celebrating one year of ownership. Our room was spacious, comfy, clean, no smell, and the staff were very pleasant and friendly staff. Very quiet (but we had no neighbors). Heater-a/c is very loud. Otherwise excellent. The cabins at the back look interesting.

Positives: pet friendly, clean room. Negatives: about 8 km out of town, overpriced for a very dated motel in not very nice surroundings. Room 19 had a small window facing the back making the room feel like a cage. No bath mat in bathtub to prevent slipping.

A exceptionally clean and comfortable room! Staff was super friendly and helpful! A great place to stop. They had a lot of little amenities to make stay better. A food truck will be opening soon but we were a bit too early. Right on the highway.

Due to an unfortunate highway closure, I found myself in need of a room for the night at short notice. The staff were able to accommodate me. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and The Northern Lights is the best place to stay in Wawa. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting or just passing through Wawa.
