"This is a Brassbell hotel. It's clean, pleasant, and in an excellent location, allowing you to walk to famous attractions, with the promenade right nearby. The hotel entrance is also on a side street. The room is small but functional, offering a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea from a small balcony. The bed is large, and the bedding is clean and new. The room had a kettle, cups with saucers, spoons, tea, coffee, creamer, and bottled water (only upon check-in, no replenishment). Instead of a closet, there's a rack with hangers. Hot water has good pressure and is consistent. The shower has body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. In the hotel lobby, there's a communal kitchen and a lovely, spacious lounge area. The staff is friendly, and you can store your luggage after checking out. The building where the hotel is located is old, with a beautiful elevator and staircase. There are many different cafes, restaurants, and shops near the hotel. As for drawbacks, I'd note the absence of slippers and a hairdryer, and there's no designated place to put or hang towels. Otherwise, everything was great."

"Traveling as a group of four, there was no doorman to open the car door upon arrival. It was only after we carried our luggage up the steps and through the main entrance that a doorman finally came to assist. The front desk staff were unfriendly; we were made to wait half an hour for check-in. Meanwhile, local guests (Arabs) who arrived at the same time were given priority and checked in immediately. After waiting over 30 minutes without progress, we had to raise our voices and argue with the front desk, and suddenly, our room was ready in seconds. The lobby manager showed no ability to resolve the conflict, which frankly felt like severe discrimination against Asians. The hotel facilities are outdated. The elevator door on the third floor was constantly broken and unusable. Several members of my group experienced nightmares that night, which speaks volumes about the overall experience. The service is completely inconsistent with a five-star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to fellow Chinese travelers."

Pros: Relaxing stay, beautiful landscaping, indoor pool, comfortable water. Cons: Hot water inconsistencies. Slow staff. We asked for slippers and a robe, and it took half a day to get them. The spa was out of service."

"The hotel has great potential and a wonderful location, which could make it an excellent option for travelers visiting Alexandria. It offers good value for money in theory, but unfortunately, the current management does not fully reflect this potential. Some aspects of service need significant improvement — starting from the reception and housekeeping to the kitchen and café plus an operating free wifi. The staff seem to be doing their best, but they clearly need stronger professional guidance and management oversight to meet the standards expected from a hotel in such a prime location. During my stay, parts of the hotel were under renovation, and the construction work caused some disturbance throughout the day. While it’s understandable that improvements require time, better scheduling or communication with guests would have made the experience more comfortable. Overall, the hotel could become a top choice in Alexandria with proper management and attention to guest comfort. I truly hope the owners invest in professional leadership to make the most of this great property."
