Staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was good. Nice views of the Loch and only a 5 minute drive from Luss. Unfortunately, the room was far from four star. It was dingy and was in much need of a refurb.

What a lovely, well run hotel, friendly, helpful staff, Andrew who has the hotel, is at the top of the game in the hospitality industry, he has every base covered for your wants & needs ,including the four legged kind ,beautifully kept inside & out ,a building with so much character, set over looking loch lomond, just beautiful, good menu, lovely food, nothing is to much trouble, I highly recommend a vist ,I am definitely going back ,thank you for making my stay so pleasurable, Debbie Starks

Stayed Saturday 12/07. Checkin wasn’t very friendly or welcoming at all. Got there at 2:45 and was told room not ready even though I never even told her our name. Said come back at 3 when you’re meant to be here. Never suggested anywhere to wait. Nice enough albeit very basic but for £200 for a night I’d expect at least some water and toiletries. Iron but no mini fridge. TV didn’t work as WiFi rubbish. Boiling hot day and the desk fan in room made no difference. Opened the balcony door and lots of cobwebs went all over me. Had to close it as too many bugs flying in. Nice meal and friendly bar and waiting staff. Good singer on 7pm until 21:45. Very hot uncomfortable night. Breakfast was tiny portions and not good quality meat. Checkout was like checkin. Unfriendly. never asked how our stay was no goodbye, nothing. A LOT of dogs. Ok overall but not for the price.

Weeding the grounds!! We booked in for our evening meal, and when we arrived to see the part owner Andrew Ryan Fox's husband weeding the grounds as we all sat in the sun trying to enjoy q light refreshment it was noticeable wierd. The waiting staff, setting and food was excellent but the weeding should've taken place at a quiet time. Instead we sat watching this man part limping and throwing weeds around as he pleased.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this lovely hotel we used as a stop on a longer journey north. The room was spacious and cosy with a cot and blanket ready for our baby. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had to rush off early in the morning before breakfast and a kind man (I think the owner) made us a bacon and egg roll and a cup of tea to take away so we didn’t miss out which we really appreciated! The views of the Loch also make it a beautiful location to stay. We would no hesitation returning to stay here.

Had a lovely two night stay at this hotel on Loch Lomand. Great position with views of the Loch. The staff are warm and welcoming and very attentive to your needs. Rooms are well presented and comfortable. Good facilities. Restaurant was really good, with good choice at dinner and breakfast sittings. Cook well, served, and presented by staff with a smile. On Saturday evening we had entertainment while we ate by a singer. We even got our request sung by him, very good. Highly recommend that you stay at this hotel, plenty of parking space and room to relax.
