Firstly how anyone can say the food was average pub grub is just beyond me!!! guess you can’t please those type of people who are always moaning, and obviously looking for a free stay type of people!!!! Everything about our 3 night stay was just perfect, the staff who go above and beyond, the food which was absolutely beautiful , the hotel and the location was fabulous. It’s 5 stars from us and we will definitely be back, had an amazing stay. Just left this morning so wish we had booked for longer.

Wanted to stay at this hotel for a while so thought we would give it a go on the way back from Oban . Hotel looks pretty rubbish from the outside but inside it's lovely really cosy. Wasn't keen on the receptionist on arrival on Sunday she could have been more welcoming but hey ho. Went to our room small and cosy bathroom had Been done up really nice , only gripe was the drains gurgled quite lound on the night woke me up plus no light on the mirror shower was small but I'm used to a double unit at home . Out room was near the kitchen and at about half 7 the kitchen staff put the radio on which we could hear in our room actually woke me up ..not good for a Monday morning when your on holiday . Something id suggest the hotel looks onto to prevent further issues . Staff in restaurant were great two lassies could work any harder serving everyone. Food was great big portions good choice. Breakie was good great choice service excellent.

Lovely hotel staff very friendly. We were on a Wowcher deal which was good value. Room was fine and comfortable. The food however wasn’t great. Pate not homemade was bought in what a let down when I go to a hotel I’m expecting better than out a grocery store that I can but at home. Chicken pie wasn’t much better killed with salt and again tasted like a packet mix. Veg wasn’t very appealing mostly burnt or hard. Apart from that lovely hotel to stay but food just average pub grub.

Took advantage of a Wowcher deal for a dinner, bed and breakfast package which was excellent. From the booking call through to the friendly welcome it was very professionally handled. All the staff were very friendly and efficient throughout our stay.

Got a deal with my hotel break dbb £108. Great value, evening meal was ok, presented well and decent portion . The young guy that served us had no interaction with us what so ever no smiles. Young girl with long baggy jumper was pleasant. Breakfast in morning was lovely but 2 eastern European guys talked too loud to each other across the room . Receptionist on the sunday didn't even say hello . We said hello but her reply was your a bit early for check in (2.50pm) checkin is 3pm!! But your room is ready she was red haired about 25 years old . Room view was great , room tiny though and very creaky floor boards . Lovely heated floor in bathroom. We would stay again if we got a deal . Older Scottish man at breakfast was chatty .

Great overnight deal, DBB. We upgraded to a deluxe room. Lovely views of Ben Lomond and the Loch. Food was delicious. Best mussels and sauce ever tasted. I had macaroni cheese, enough to feed 3 people! It was really tasted but too big a portion, I didn't have room for a sweet. Room and bathroom was spotlessly clean as was the dining area. Staff wete very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely return.
